The Resort is enormously popular with guests because it is "city close" to Jaco and Parrita and "country quiet" from crowds, congestion and traffic noises--a perfect place to rest, relax and renew. It is the perfect launching place for sightseeing day trips throughout the area. ABOUT THE RESORT? Del Pacifico is a master-planned community designed by internationally famous architects whose Spanish Colonial Revival Style is woven into the entire development- including thick stucco walls, clay tile roofs, decorative iron railings, massive square pillars, arches, colonnades and mosaic tile domes and Olde World herringbone brick roads wind throughout the resort's extensive grounds of stately palm trees, lush tropical landscaping and manicured lawns and hedges. The 2nd story architecture enables Casa Feliz, to have 10 foot high ceilings and 25' high vaulted skylights over the kitchen and master bath areas which flood these areas with awesome natural light in the daytime.. Upper level units also provide guests with views of the Pacific Ocean and magnificent sunsets to the West, long-range mountain views to the East and, and rainforest/jungle views to the North from these higher elevated windows and/or balconies. The air conditioning worked excellent and the pool was fantastic. There are excellent restaurants that are fairly priced just outside the gate of the complex. The location is in the middle of everything we wanted to see (45 minute drive to Manuel Antonio). I would definitely stay here again. ##### Lee D. The location was perfect for our visit and we were visited by macaws or monkeys every evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the pool. The pool was fantastic and we were normally the only ones there! The owner was genuinely kind and helpful. We found driving from the San Jose airport and getting to the area beaches quite easy, despite it being our first time in Costa Rica. We saw lots of birds from the balcony, including a toucan. Everything we needed was provided and available. The bedrooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds, the bathrooms also are great. we enjoyed the pool area and also the nearby beach. There is a well-stocked supermarket right outside the complex, as well as various restaurants. For any other needs, the upscale Automercado is a 20 min drive away. We spent a day in Manuel Antonio Park, which is a 45 min drive away. The whole complex is very peaceful and tranquil. Definitely a place to return to! ##### Elena A. There was no point of contact with anybody whilst staying at the property,and no help whatsoever with booking a taxi to travel to the property etc. Cleanliness was only average. Casa Feliz is EXACTLY as pictured! We were awe of the attention to detail in every aspect of this beautiful condo. Every room is spacious and beautifully appointed. Comfortable elegance at every glance. We enjoyed watching the plethora of bird species visiting the nearby Balsa from the comfort of the balcony. Our favourites were Scarlet Macaw pairs who came every morning and afternoon to dine on the nectar of the balsa flower. Nearby vast Playa Bejuco with its ever present surf, hot sand, warm water and stunning sunsets is only 15 minutes away on foot, or a few minutes drive. The pool on the property was well maintained, clean and not very busy! We enjoyed the restaurants, bakery and convenience store all in walking distance from the condo. Sandra, the property manager and Lillian, the owner were most gracious and helpful when we had questions or needs. What a gem of a property! Lillian, I don't even know what to say. Your condo was incredible. We absolutley loved it. We got up early every morning and early evening and made pictures of McCaws, Birds, Anteaters, and Squirrels in the large tree off your balcony. Enjoyed the pool and surroundings. Your condo had everything we needed and more. My husband and I slept great on the kingsize bed. The condo is away from everything and that is what we liked. We rented a car and drove down the coast and enjoyed Quepos, Manuel Antonio Park, Parrita and many other places. Took a Damas River Cruise to see the monkeys with Rafa and it was so much fun. We also went to Jaco during the day and went to Puntarenas. Stopped at many fruit and vegetable stands (they were incredible). We put a lot of miles on the car-really enjoyed it. We love the restaurants down the hill. We had quesadillas, pizza and pico de gallo from La Mana. It was great. Harold and I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We would highly recommend it. We were not sure about all the steps but it was worth it. We had a great view and could make wonderful pictures from the balcony. Again, thank you for everything. The location is perfect, short drive to great beaches and very very close to a nice plaza with coffee, bakery and great food. The house has AC throughout the house, which is great, usually you get only AC in the bedrooms. It was fully furnished and well-equipped for our stay and for cooking our won meals. We were very pleased with the security and the quiet atmosphere of the condo complex. The pool was great and not crowded. I would recommend this property to anyone, especially if you have a large family or multiple couples in the same condo. The market is at the entrance as well so it’s easy to provision, but stopping at the local market for fresh produce would be advisable. The bus to Jaco is infrequent but the driver and all the locals are very helpful and friendly. There’s a lovely hotel bar at the very end of the beach where the sunset is very peaceful. ##### Jean L. Everything was accurately listed in the description. It was well appointed and comfortable as well as being stocked with many of the necessities that are often overlooked like salt/pepper, paper goods etc. One of the reviews I read before renting mentioned there were 42 stairs ascending to the front door. This proved true but none of us found the climb difficult. We especially enjoyed the two balconies overlooking the swimming pool and lush grounds. Having our morning coffee while listening to the tranquil sounds of the birds and animals was a real pleasure. And as if that isn’t enough, a short 5 minute drive will take you to beautiful Playa Bejuco where you can choose to brave the waves of the Pacific or swim in a lazy river that empties into it. Air condition throughout! It provides everything you need except your clothes and food. Very quite with excellent security, and close to a small grocery store and 4 or 5 restaurants.
