"Beatuful property, however the staff is somewhat indifferent and lacks friendliness, especially the check in staff. We had to change our room the second day because of a strange noise waking us up the entire night, since the window was not closing properly. Also it seemed that unauthorized people can visit guests and make noise at night, even though this is a small hotel and it's very easy to monitor the visitors. The morning staff at the reception is much friendlier. The staff at the restaurant is nice and friendly. The hotel is historic, gorgeous interior and rich history behind it. "

"The rooms are big with high ceilings, comfortable beds, everything was clean and overall a good experience. The only criticism I have is that there was no free drinking water in the room. There was water in the minibar fridge but non that appeared to be free and readily available. That aside our stay was very pleasant."

But our room was older and some renovation would have made it look even better. Breakfast was also pretty good. Overall a good stay at a good price. "

"This was a fantastic place to stay all around. First of all, it's only a five-minute walk to town, if that. La Zubia has several little markets right near by and lots of cafes and bakeries. Easy access to Granada. The house is spacious, beautiful, and authentic, with little touches that the photographs don't capture--like etched glass panes in the dining room entry, a lovely tea set in the pantry, interesting sculptures in the living room. Every room had a lovely chandelier, and the tile floor in the main bedroom is stunning. Rodrigo and Manuela were lovely and helpful, The only downside was the tight parking and the nasty neighbor who got upset when the wheels of our car touched the line separating our car from his. Other than that, a beautiful stay, highly recommended."
