About this property

The Grange in Cantal

  • Nestled in the heart of Cantal, this renovated house offers a peaceful haven on 10 hectares of unspoiled nature. A place where time slows down naturally, where you can watch foxes cross the property at dusk.

The interior harmoniously combines rustic charm and modern comfort. The living room opens generously onto the outdoors, while the kitchen is centered around a large farmhouse table. Four comfortable bedrooms, decorated with parquet floors and exposed beams, can accommodate up to six people.

The terrace, shaded by fruit trees, becomes your outdoor sanctuary. The garden invites you to relax, enjoy convivial meals around the barbecue, or simply contemplate the surrounding nature.

Nearby, the treasures of the Cantal region await you: spectacular hikes on the slopes of Puy Mary, picturesque medieval villages, swimming in Lake Tolerme. Not to mention the rich local cuisine, from farmers' markets to the Michelin-starred restaurant in Marcolès.

It’s a beautiful location, a very well-maintained house—everything is in perfect order. You can tell the house was renovated with love just by looking at the details. The “barn” and the outdoor kitchen are a real bonus. Sandrine is a wonderful host who makes you feel right at home. She gave us tips for outings in the area that were definitely worth it. Private grounds with its own forest—an oasis of tranquility. Deer roaming the property! Top location. Air conditioning isn’t necessary here; it cools down pleasantly in the evenings. As a family of five, we had a wonderful vacation here! Highly recommended! Thank you, Sandrine! Best regards, Fiene, Lore, Kobe, Maarten, and Micha
