"It was great! ...spot on, with super helpful flyers located right near the game setup. The home had a wonderful, open space, and the kitchen was fully equipped with fresh fruit, snacks, and extra condiments. Overall, top-notch amenities and a fantastic place to stay!"

"perfect cozy spot in excellent location easy to get to all the shops and restaurants in Waimea..close to out outdoor activities and just an eight minute drive down the hill to the beach. Laura was excellent...serving as a perfect concierge for everything."

"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."

"This property was perfect for my family. Not only was the house spacious, but the back yard was also huge. My children enjoyed playing in the yard, watching the stream at the edge of the yard, and visiting the neighbor's horse! Having access to the laundry was very helpful for us. We had everything that we needed in the house. Everything was clean. Communicating with our host was easy. Check-in directions were easy to follow."

"Amazing property! Our family loved this place. Our kids played soccer in the yard, we had meals outside, and grateful for house amenities. The landscape of this property is beautiful and relaxing. Proximity is in the middle of anywhere you need to go i.e. beaches, touristy things. Foodland is 5 minutes away. Best grocery store for poke and marinated meats for grilling dinner. We appreciated the beach towels and accessories! We’d definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed in this peaceful and beautiful place for just one night, and would gladly stay again on our next trip to the Big Island. Beds were so comfy, hosts were wonderful, and we woke up to a full rainbow practically on the roof in front of us! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Perfect stay! Beautiful home. There was extra laundry soap, paper towels, sunscreen, and tons of coffee k-cups. You really don’t need to go to the grocery specifically for these items. Tons of beach towels, bath towels, hand towels, dish towels, wash cloths etc. Comfortable beds. Nice seating on the deck. Cushions are in the garage. Appreciated having a dehumidifier! It was so humid when we visited. Really could not think of anyway to improve this listing. The best VRBO/Air B&B we have EVER stayed at. Tip: In the evenings, set the fans in front of the screened windows and the house will cool quickly. We were there in June. We were able to drive the entire island. No regrets with The Horse House."
