Riverside Point Resort in Park Rapids is the ideal for those looking to getaway, relax, but enjoy the comforts of a picturesque lake town. Located on the beautiful, clear, Fishhook river, you are a short boat ride to Fishhook Lake, and a short walk to coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and bars in beautiful downtown Park Rapids.
Riverside Point features 9 cabins. Cabins 1,2, and 3, 6, 7, and 8 feature 2 bedroom's with a kitchen and family room.
Cabin 7 features a larger kitchen.
The washer and dryer is coin operated.
The Property Owner will consider pets. However, pet acceptance is not guaranteed and is subject to owner approval and pet fees apply if the pet is approved. If you bring an unapproved pet, fines apply, and you will be made to leave with no refund.
Please note beach toys come and go, but at this time Riverside Point has the following.
2 - 10 ft kayaks.
2 - 5 ft kayaks.
2 - 12 ft canoes.
1 paddle boat
1 paddle board
All first come, first serve.
You can fish from shore on our peninsula
These items are not guaranteed as part of the rental, they are complimentary and a courtesy, and all of these items may or may not be available during your stay.
Additional Optional Rental Rates.
We offer additional Pontoon Rentals. We also hold a $500 damage Deposit per rental on the Pontoon. The rates are available below;

In addition to the stated cancellation policy, any credit/debit card processing fees will be deducted from the cancellation refund if a credit/debit card is used, generally around 3%.

Absolutely no smoking. Smoking fines start at $500
If you smoke, fine is $500, if smoking bothers other guests you will be responsible for any compensation to other guests.

Perfect Minnesota Vacation
We expected a small cabin, and it was small. But it was so well ordered that we could manage to do everything we wanted to do. The huge positive was the free use of the self-propelled watercrafts. Each family member was able to experience different types of boats without incurring huge rental fees. My older son, who has always been a proponent of kayaks, tried out the paddleboard and loved it! We spent a good share of our vacation on the water thanks to the free use of the boats. Downtown Park Rapids is a short drive (or a longer hike) from the cabins. It is a delightful downtown with great souvenir shopping. Park Rapids is only a short 20-minute drive from Lake Itasca, which provides many additional outdoor experiences. We had a great visit. Thank you.

The cabins were smaller inside than expected. Cabins are rustic but very clean and had what we needed. We were comfortable. Outdoor area was very nice. We did not really need anything during our stay but the manager, Matthew, was very nice and pleasant.

Nice place, but kitchen is lacking
The kitchen is very small, but it is possible to prepare a meal. However some things that might be considered basic are missing. There is no large pot, so a pasta meal is out of the question. There is no cookie sheet or pizza pan, no cheese grater. I recommend the owners take a serious look through the cupboards and think about preparing a few days worth of meals for a family of 3 or 4. I think the shortcomings will become obvious. Other than that, it is a nice little cabin in a popular area.
