We were meeting with family in PC and in Heber. We loved the inside/outside pool and were pleased that they fixed the jets in the hot tub quickly. In the master bath, there needs to be a shelf or basket to put your toiletries in. Setting them on the ledge outside the door is not convenient and setting them on the floor is also inconvenient. A power strip next to the bed would be very helpful. I had a medical device and it was challenging trying to plug it in as I had to move the giant bed away from the wall to access an open plug. We had problems trying to check in early even after following the instructions given. The answering service had no answer for us and it was hours before we got a call and all we needed was the code, which could have been texted. The cafe on the property was lacking in staffing and selection. They had equipment to make coffee drinks but were not able to. On a whole, I would stay again. It was a simple stay and exactly what we needed...a comfy place to sleep and a small kitchen for us to eat breakfast. Everything was available and working. The only problem was that the room was so far from the main lobby elevator. I had never been there before so I did not know how the building was laid out. My husband is elderly and it was rather difficult for him to walk so far to the elevator. It also would have been nice to know in advance about the movie that was being filmed in the building most of the time. quite often the elevator was not available for our use, so we used the stairs or the back elevator also a long walk and not near a place to park. I would however stay there again closer to the elevator and make sure a movie is not being filmed there at the same time. ##### Kathy A. Our reservation was from Thursday until Sunday, but we left the day after we arrived (left on Friday). We were there for a combination of my birthday and our wedding anniversary. This was literally the first family vacation we have ever taken in the 8 years since our family began. I was excited to teach my kids how to swim and have a great time. The disappointment started as soon as we arrived. First, it was hard to find our room, as there were no signs posted anywhere about which building we should be in. As soon as we walked into the building, it smelled so old and it was run down. We got to our room just hoping and praying that it would be better. It wasn't. It was so old and outdated! What a surprise, considering how much money we spent on it! The room was old, it smelled dusty and musty, the furniture was from the 80's and the carpet was a dirty green. It was so gross that I felt uncomfortable putting my baby down, so we didn't. We held her the whole time. We stayed the night because we hoped that the pool would make the trip worth it. We were so excited to teach our kids how to swim. We went to the pool the next morning. There were so many bugs and hairs in the water, it was disgusting! It was supposed to be a heated pool, but it was barely luke warm, my kids were still freezing (actually shaking). There was a water hose in the water, which we're assuming was to keep the water up to level, but it was spouting ice cold water. The tunnel which leads from the indoor to outdoor pool was crumbling and falling apart. The pieces were falling right into the pool. And somehow I was attacked by a bunch of ants next to the hot tub INDOORS. The only ice machine was on the other side of the building, 3 ice stations down from where our room was. We were so disappointed in the poor state of the hotel that we left after showering. What a waste. Fortunately, we were able to go home, as we couldn't afford to travel far. We had to put this trip on a credit card, and now we have to make payments for sitting at home all weekend instead. We also got the package that came with $250 worth of free activities which turned out to be $250 worth of free nothing. Most of the activities offered weren't even available this time of year, and the rest weren't kid friendly. I would never recommend this hotel or this rental property. Clearly the owner is only in it for the money, not for the customer service or experiences that we might have had. I'm so disappointed in how everything went. I mean, how disappointed would someone have to be to pay almost $1,000 dollars for a 4 day trip and end up leaving after one night? This unit was absolutely perfect for us to stay safe indoors with each other. Plenty of room to read, play board games, watch TV, have hot cocoa and watch the snow fall and catch up on life.
