Clean room. Really quiet neighborhood. 1400 steps to the M! subway. I walked the streets around the hotel at all hours and always felt safe. Monoprix store near the hotel is like a mini Walmart..With better prices! Self checkout made everything easy. Could easily spend a month just eating food and relaxing and not even visiting Paris!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a first time visitor in Paris, they offer tips and maps to help us navigate our trips. Breakfast included with sufficient food options is definitely a wonderful perk for the stay. The only thing is I find the room and bathroom too small. If you’re not a petit size, opt for a bigger room, I had a double. Also, it’d be great if a microwave is provided in the room. Other than that, the place is kept clean and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Second time at this Gorgeous wee French hotel as again it was near to our concert venue . Rooms basic but modern . Bathroom small . Spotlessly clean and room cleaned each day . Hotel has the best air conditioning we have ever had and been all over the world and this was very much appreciated in the heat . Staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the free breakfast when housekeeping accidentally left our door open ( very safe) . Lots of places to eat near by and metro to travel into the centre of Paris. Would highly recommend and will be back again soon

I spent 2 days looking on line for a hotel during the two weeks of French Open thinking I had to be in the Paris city center. Considering my budget, all places within the city center may have been in expensive coupled with somewhat appealing pictures, however, I could not come to commit to any of them because of the negative reviews. That’s when I thought to go a little further outside the city center and discovered Vivaldi. Not one single negative review, so I took it. Very clean, firm yet comfortable bed. Be prepared to step carefully in and out of the shower. Close enough to city center that I could get my 10,000 steps a day in and then some. I learned the metro and caught cabs, no need to rent a car. I enjoyed Laura and her staff, all extremely courteous, friendly and very interested in my wants and needs and if mine, then yours also. Lovely stay and I will return.

What a stay at the Vivaldi Hotel! At the price point I struggle to say a bad word about the hotel. The staff were very informative and helped with learning of the language and recommended some great outings. Location: the hotel is around 13 minutes (for us) walk to La Defense and 7 minutes to Puteaux Tram station. Puteaux - Beautiful little part of Paris. Very quiet and great bakerys!

Friendly, clean hotel
Friendly hotel from the moment you walk in the front door. Staff are great. Not in a touristy spot so not much going on round about but it's in a quaint area and is handy for concerts at the la Defence Arena. Rooms not massive but spotlessly clean with free wi-fi and safe. Would definitely return.

While neither luxurious nor offering large rooms, the Vivaldi offers a very clean environment, attentive staff (an oddity those days) and immediate proximity to multiple good level restaurants (saperlipopette, sain cert). All at a surprisingly affordable rate in Paris. Also very close to many of the big companies lining up the Seine front and La Défense.

Fantastic hotel
Our 3rd time at this hotel. We were given a room leading onto the courtyard terrace which was really nice. Good sized room with a large comfortable bed. Very clean and well equipped. Great shower. Buffet breakfast was very tasty. Staff were welcoming and helpful. On a nice quiet street with plenty of eating places and shops close by. Definitely would stay again

If you want to stay in a quaint little suburb of Paris then Puteaux is the place! Hotel Vivaldi was the perfect venue for a trip to Paris! Room was small however perfect for one traveller! Staff were fabulous and could not do enough for their guests! Cleaning and house keeping second to none! Easy Metro trip to centre of Paris and for the tennis, 2 easy bus rides away!! Loved, loved, loved my stay at Hotel Vivaldi!!

this hotel is in terrible area, so far from the center of everything. false advertisement rooms are extremely small and overall very unpleased with my stay. would not recommend yo friends, family or worst case an enemy.

Dear SIr, We are very surprised about what you wrote and this let us believe that maybe you never came at the hotel. The area is very safe, cleaned, nice, full of shops and restaurants, in 5 metro stops you are on Champs Elysées, the "heart" of Paris. Of course, rooms are not very big as we are in Paris,but this is written in every guests' comments, so easy to find out. Maybe we debited cancellation fees and you didn't like it? Or maybe you wanted to change your booking at the last minute and it was not possible anymore? If you had put your name, it would have been easier for us to understand, but you are an "anonymous" guest... We will never know what's happened really and it is a pity, but fortunately most of our guests appreciate our work and this motivate us to continue in this way. Best regards

The lady at the desk on our check-out day was very rude an unhelpful. She argued with us that we could not have boiled water for free, despite the fact that James told us when we checked in that we could get it for free. There was no natural light in the room, meaning we had to have the lights on the entire time. The shower door was broken, and the floor inside the shower was very slippery and did not have a mat, which resulted in my girlfriend slipping and injuring her arm. There were loud 'intimate' noises coming from the rooms around us, as the walls were so thin. We were kept up until 2am on our first night by what sounded like power tools (which staff blamed on our air conditioning, which was switched off in 30 degree heat!) The breakfast wasn't great. It was €12 for hot drinks, eggs (which weren't refilled) and croissants, which you could buy in a bakery down the road for €1 each. The hotel itself is miles from anywhere of note in Paris, a taxi from the Eurostar cost us €40. Overall, I'd avoid this hotel.

Dear Mister Thomas, We never wrote on our hotel description in Hotels.com that we have a courtesy tray in our rooms. James told you at your arrival that we have a room service 24h/24h and that we can serve drinks anytime. For reasonable prices (from2.5€ up to 3.5€) you can have any kind of drinks. We are really sorry that you understood that this was free of charge. When you came in the morning during breakfast asking for two teas but without tea bag, I told you that this was a paying service. Do you go in a café with your tea bag? Do you go in a restaurant with your own food? It’s really a pity that, after that, everything was negative at the point of writing “stay away from the hotel”, especially because you didn’t complain about anything while here. We could maybe try to find a solution. We understand your disappointment and we are very sorry about that. We hope we will have another chance to welcome you at the hotel and make your stay better than this one. Best regards

Exceptional front-desk staff, cozy location.
Front desk was exceptionally helpful and attentive to my schedule and overall stay. Breakfast, although simple, was great and convenient. The location is in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity to several good, low-key restaurants and markets. My only complaint with the location is that the room was smaller than anticipated, but not shocking given the standards in Europe.

I spent 1 night at Vivaldi hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was very nice. The hotel is about 50 metres from a main shopping street so that was very convenient!

Fantastic hotel. Safe 10-15min walk to the metro. Lovely local area and quiet location. Most comfortable bed ever. Beautiful rooms. Great WiFi. Friendly staff. We never paid for breakfast as there are some lovely Parisian bakeries around so can’t comment on food. The only downside is the bathrooms are a little small. It could just have been our room, toilet was next to a wall and the shelf with sink the other side.

Really great staff at reception. Always friendly, relaxed and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Very convenient for me to get to the office I was working at. Tea or coffee making facilities would be nice and a bit of space in the in-room fridge, but I am given to understand that it is pretty standard not to have this in France.
