Perfect spot!
Like all the other reviewers, I have nothing but good things to say. First of all, the location of this apartment is superb! Near any number of museums and sights, but -- at least in early April -- without the sense of being in a tourist district. It is on the edge of the Marais, which has many expensive shops, but also plenty of decent cafes and small art galleries. The apartment itself is lovely!. Large windows overlooking La Place de L'Hotel de Ville which allows for endless people and event watching. Very tastefully furnished in a style appropriate to a classic French apartment. Comfortable bed. All very clean. The host and hostess, whom we met briefly, are very pleasant and helpful. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there!

Excellent apartment
We stayed a week in this apartment and found it very much to our needs. The view on Notre dame was excellent and the metro is steps away. Our only negative comments are that the furniture could use some updating and the elevator starts on the second floor. I recommend this property it is a good value.

Amazing apartment in an amazing city
The location of this apartment was perfect, right in the middle of the Marias across from City Hall. The bed was comfy and the living room and dining table allowed for a lot of room. The bed was comfortable and the view out the front windows was spectacular. The kitchen was very well equipped for those few meal that we prepared ourselves. There were basics available in the kitchen as well as some treats to help greet us! Jean-Michel took the time to meet Ius in person and was available if we had any questions. We love Paris and, iwhen we come again, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Apartment
The apartment had everything I needed! I appreciated all the extra dishes and cleaning. The windows with daylight and view of Notre Dame were so amazing. Its very centrally located with Metro stations steps away and lots of shopping and dining around. An ideal place for a week or so stay!

Great location
Do not think the picture showing is the actual place where you'll be staying at, The apt is located across from there, Place is cute and clean, the only issue I had was the very dirty carpet odor coming up to the apt and a problem with the dryer, after washing my clothes within 4 days of being there , the dyer stopped working ,Pierre-Michel couldn't do much cause he was out of town so he sent his grandson to help me out but he couldn't do nothing about it so i had to go purchase new stuff for my husband and I and we had to fly back to Boston with wet clothes in our suitcases.

Amazing Apartment
Jean-Michel’s apartment overlooking the Hotel de Ville in the heart of Paris was amazing. The pictures in the advertisement are fantastic, but nothing compared to when you actually get there. The apartment is quaint and cozy with plenty of space for two for an extended stay. The apartment has all of the amenities needed and Jean-Michel was a fantastic host! When we arrived at the apartment, there was a slight issue with housekeeping (definitely out of the control of the owners). We called Jean-Michele and he actually drove into Paris (he lives 70km away) with his wife and corrected the issue personally! We could not have asked for a better experience and we will be back next year for a much longer stay! Also, the location of the apartment is perfect! Walking distance to many attractions. Plus, there is a Metro stop literally 20 steps from the front door where you can get anywhere in the city! This place is truly a gem in the Marais!

Beautiful and well appointed apartment with a lovely view of Hotel de Ville and elevator. Very central with metro stop at its doorstep and easy to walk the shops and restaurants of Marais. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable apartment. Jean-Michel was easy to communicate with and answered questions before and during our stay. Location was convenient to Metro and many of the museums and sites, not to mention shopping and food. I would absolutely stay here again - and hope to!

Amazing location and views
Absolutely loved the apartment. Everything we needed and views out windows were perfect. Jean-Michael was great and was there if I called and needed anything. Central location two blocks to notre dame, great restaurants around corner with Paris nightlife. Metro at the corner, bikes to rent At opposite corner and three grocery stores within two block area. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing such a great place.

Beautiful location and view from the apartment. Convenient to many historic sites.

Perfect location
This beautiful and very convenient apartment is perfect. Located just steps away from a Metro station that can take you anywhere in Paris. Walking distance to most museums and dozens of wonderful cafes and bakeries. Also in the heart of a major show district. You open the shutters and have a view of Notre Dame. Couldn’t have asked for more. Jean Michel, the owner is very accommodating and responsive to your needs. The perfect place with a perfect host. We will return.

This is the place!
This location is perfect! Looking out over Hôtel de Ville and a great view of Notre Dame. Near shopping and steps away from the Metro line 1. The place was spotless and perfect for a couple of a couple and two kids. I would definitely choose to stay at this property whenever we return to Paris.

Lovely View and Central Location
We stayed in Printemps for two weeks as we explored Paris. We enjoyed looking at the Hotel de Ville from our windows, and we had a good view of Notre Dame, too. With a Metro stop just outside the building, we got around the city easily. The apartment is stocked with everything we needed: cookware, wine glasses, champagne flutes, fluffy towels, warm robes and slippers. The bed is comfortable, with lots of cozy pillows. We had more than enough storage space for our clothes, etc. Jean-Michel was kind enough to visit us to make sure our stay was comfortable. We highly recommend Printemps, and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on our next visit to Paris.

Best location in Paris!
Per the title of this review, there's no better location in Paris. The #1 Metro station is literally outside your door. Les Marais is behind you, and there is a great view of the Hotel des Villes out the front windows. It's a VERY short walk to Ile de La Cite, Ile de St. Louis, and the Latin Quarter, and an easy Metro or bus ride to literally everywhere else in Paris. The compact kitchen was enough in which to make coffee or Nespresso, and a few mornings we whipped up some omelets. (The kitchen is well-equipped for 2) It has a washer-dryer: since we could do laundry we could fly without checking baggage. While something in between a studio and a true 1 BR, there was ample space, and the bed was large enough and comfy. Great restaurants are minutes away by foot, and the one recommended by the owner, Le Pave, was fantastique! The department store BHV/Marais is a block away, and there are two boulangeries/patisseries around the corner. Tourist office across the street. Very clean & tidy. And because you need two numerical codes to get in the building and a QR code to get in the flat, you feel safe & secure, and don't need to carry keys with you. Truly we cannot imagine a better place to stay

A great stay
As others have noted, it’s well equipped with thoughtful touches like robes and slippers, tiny but well set up kitchen, charmingly furnished, GREAT VIEW, close walk to attractions and great metro location. The host was gracious and very easy to communicate with, though once we were there, we never needed to. We would highly recommend; also we were warm and cozy despite a serious cold snap.

In the center of it all
Everything you need is inside, and everything you want to see is right outside the door. We loved our week in this apartment so much that we're reluctant to share it! Good walk-in shower, washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, multiple coffee machines. And Jean-Michel is kind and responsive. Walk to the Louvre, many other museums, a million good restaurants and bakeries. Metro and bus right outside, and Batoboat a couple blocks away. Dreaming of returning already. Just one caution: The elevator does not go to the ground floor, so not good for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Otherwise, practically perfect.

This apartment was a gem of a find. The location could not be beat, the place was spotless and roomy, beautiful views of the Hotel de Ville. Jean-Michel was always available and very helpful and kind. The bonus for us, since we were staying for an extended period, was the use of the washing machine and drier inside the apartment - a very rare find in Paris. It gave us the opportunity to pack a little lighter. Kitchen was well stocked and have everything you needed. Bathroom was modern and clean. Everything was amazing. Thank you for a great stay, and the extra added touch of the gift basket with wine and some snacks was just the icing on the cake.

Charming French Apartment Close to Everything!
We planned our trip to Paris around staying at this property! You are in walking distance to St. Germain, Notre Dame, restaurants, shops and the Metro is less than a minute from your door! Very charming, clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Paris.

Absolutely Lovely!
My husband and I spent 11 days at Jean-Michel's property during the "heat apocalypse" in July. No matter how hot is was outside, it was such a relief to return to Printemps and find it cool and welcoming. Jean-Michel's communication was outstanding as was his explanation of the door codes, check-in procedure, and suggestion for a car service. The apartment was absolutely lovely and the perfect size for the two of us. Even though it's located on a busy street, the windows kept out any/all noise and the bed is incredibly comfortable. This was our first trip to Paris and one of the main reasons we selected Jean-Michel's rental was the location. We were able to walk everywhere (museums, cafes, gardens, etc). Thank you Jean-Michel for a wonderful time in your charming apartment!

Wonderful apartment in ideal location
We loved this apartment. Clean, airy, literally steps from the metro entrance. View of Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame. Many restaurants in neighborhood. Though on a busy thoroughfare, the street noise was never intrusive. And a washer and dryer. Next time in Paris we will want to book this apartment.

Perfect for us
If you want to check-in, enjoy a wonderful space in an amazing location, have all your travel needs well met, and be left to your own devices, this is the place for you. That’s what we wanted and that’s what we got. Of course, if you want more interaction with the hosts, I’m sure they deliver on that front, too - they clearly know what they’re doing. :) From initial contact to the excellent ’how-to’ guide and welcome basket, everything was ideal and professional. Light sleepers should know the floorboards squeak unavoidably when a midnight wander is needed. ;) We go back to sleep easily, so we were fine. We plan on returning, now that we’ve found ‘our’ pied-à-terre in Paris. And we never do that!

This property met all of my expectations. It was centrally located which made getting to all sites a breeze. I loved the wonderful details such as the herringbone floors and the large picture windows. My niece and I stayed for a week during her spring break. We would return to the apartment after a full day of running around the city and it was our small sanctuary until we had energy to go back out. This was a very well appointed apartment. I really appreciated the communication with Jean-Michel. He was very responsive and it was so easy to book. I loved using the electronic key which made accessing the apartment simple. If you are considering this apartment, please do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect Apartment and Location
The apartment was excellent. Very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The apartment was spacious and large and had everything you needed for your stay. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed catching sunrises over the Paris city life. The area is safe and quiet at night. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. The location was amazing as the metro stations were just down stairs. We walked to so many attractions- Norte Dame , Louvre, Muse D’ Orsay and Pompidou. The Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Opera House , and Moulin Rouge was a quick train ride away. I can go on and on about how great this experience was! Book this apartment and you won’t regret it. Clean, cozy, beautiful views, perfect centralized location and plenty of restaurants/cafes/shopping in the area. The hosts are amazing and had great communication. Highly recommend this apartment.

Incredibly Accomidations
What an incredible flat. The view was 2nd to none and the heart of the best of Paris with easy access to Metro and not far from the Louvre, Notre Dame, and many other museums and plazas. The local food was incredible. We also had a make some last-minute accommodation changes like checkout times, extensions and the owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It could not be a better stay, would and will definitely be staying again.

Perfect Choice
Great best thing about this apartment is the location. We walked nearly everywhere from here. Alsonthe view from thenqindow with the Christmas Market and Notre Dame in the background was lovely to come back too. The apartment was spotless and had everything you needed in a compact way. Kitchen basic for lunch or breakfast. Who eats in whilst in Paris with Loads of lovely restaurants locally and beyond. The apartment block smells a little musty and damp when you first go in and you may think oh no, but once you are inside it's lovely. Not 5 star quality but tastefully done and feels very French. I would definitely consider staying there again and definitely recommend to friends. The communication was excellent and support during Covid and cancellation. We were met by the owners grandson (He was lovely and charming) after a bit of an issue opening the door which was quickly rectified. Missing Paris already and missing that festive view.

Lovely Property
Great communication, thoughtful gift left for us upon arrival. Central location right above a Metro stop. People in the building are friendly, apartment is secure and quiet. Washer and dryer was quite useful. Stare out the open window and listen to jazz and the sounds of the city OR close the windows and blackout curtains and enjoy blissful sleep. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Our most recent visit was the fourth time we've stayed in one of Jean-Michel's apartments and it was wonderful as always. Because of a cancelation, Jean-Michel upgraded us to the big apartment (our favorite) and that made our weeklong stay even more special. The apartment is beautiful, fully equipped, with a spectacular view of (literally) the center of Paris. We regularly refer to it as "notre maison a Paris". Merci Jean-Michel and Nichole for another wonderful stay.

Beautiful apartment near the Hotel de Ville
The hubs and I stayed at this amazing apartment for 12 days. We picked it based on location and, most importantly, because it had a/c. I don’t normally care but the hubs was adamant. Thank goodness we picked this one! They had a heat wave with temps over 90 and we were cool as a cucumber. The apartment itself was lovely and well laid out. The bathroom has a nice, deep soaking tub. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could want and washer and dryer were a nice bonus. The apartment itself was extremely quiet. I would highly recommend!

Paris perfect!
Our girl’s week stay was a dream. JB was helpful and attentive to our every need. He went out of his way to make sure our travels during the strike were proactively mapped out. The apartment has great light with huge windows looking out to the city hall plaza. The metro was just outside our door. The kitchen is well stocked, and the washing machine was helpful as we packed light. It is the perfect Paris bungalow. We will visit again!

Amazing stay at perfectly located charming apartment in Le Marais
Bonjour! We had booked this apartment based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. I traveled with my sister, teen-aged daughter and her friend. Though the space was cozy, it was designed well. Bigger than a hotel room with added bonus of a small but functional kitchen (though we never figured out how to use the microwave/oven), and large bathroom with two sinks and full-sized washer and dryer! Separate room for the toilet was so helpful. Jean-Michel left us a gift basket and met us to go over the apartment. He was so communicative and responsive before our visit, we knew exactly where to go and what to do to access the apartment. The location is perfect, with metro station right in front of the apartment and RER station within a ten minute walk. Le Marais is one of the most bustling, fun places to stay in Paris, and we loved finding terrific bakeries, cafes, restaurants and shopping! Merci beaucoup, Jean-Michel, for sharing your apartment! We can't wait to go back to Paris again!
