Decent, reasonably priced hotel right in Pigalle
Room was quite simple: no minibar, no tea/coffee facilities, but nice, bold and simple decor. We did get a safe, though with no instructions it proved impossible to use (we tried and eventually managed to lock it, fortunately with nothing of ours inside, but could not unlock it again). Very nice modern bathroom with lovely shower. Desk staff were really nice. It was mostly very quiet, though other guests using the hallway and shutting their doors at late/early hours could have been more considerate. Slept well on comfortable beds and — unusually for continental Europe — enough pillows.
The hotel is in good location, fairly central to Paris and just down the hill from the lovely Montmartre/Abbesses area. Don't stay here if you object to being square in the middle of the red-light district, surrounded by sex shops! (It's fine, though we might have felt differently if we had young kids.) Didn't try the breakfast — at Euro 15/head, we preferred just to go to one of the many fine local patisseries. Affordable and would consider staying here again.
