Proximity to the metro and cafe and restaurants. It's a bit awsy from all the tourist attractions but easy to take metro or walk. Rooms are fairly small, but we just needed to sleep.

Very clean, staff very kind, lent us extras like an iron and board and an umbrella. Subway across the street, and lots of food options. AC worked great. Little document safe in the room, shampoo and shower gel, hair dryer. Very happy with the Superior rooms for our work trip. Elevator is up a few steps, so not really accessible.

The room was very small (just enough room for the bed). The hotel is very close to Metro station and accessible. Friendly staff. We felt very safe to stay.

Fantastic location near Montparnasse train station. Metro station ‘Pernety’ on line 13 is 20meters away across the street and runs direct to many great destinations. Area has excellent shops, food markets, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Would absolutely stay in area again to escape busier locations in heart of city.

The hotel is very well located, with many restaurants, supermarkets or bakeries around. It is also at 1min walk from a metro station. The front desk man who checked us in was beyond amazing, and overall, all the staff were kind and very helpful. The underground parking is at 2-3min walk from the hotel and very safe and secure. I highly recommend this hotel even if it is true that you can hear a little the metro until 1am, but it did not bother us as it was around the same time that we would go to sleep.

Receptionist was class, car park is too far away.
The Lady receptionist was class, she couldnt do enough for you. However, the carpark was half a mile away and once you have finished with the car park you have to take the Key back the hotel. Ok on a quiet day, very difficult during a busy period. Lots of noise around the room from other rooms etc, oh and the metro. Otherwise a good location.

Excellent hotel! We loved everything about it. Location was perfect. Bed is comfy. All clean and pretty spacious compare to other hotels we stayed in paris. Highly recommended.

Value for money
This hotel offers a good price and is excellent for budget travellers. It is right accross from the metro and about 2 miles from the Eiffel. The rooms are small but works for the price paid. The staff is very friendly and provides good service too. They offer breakfast for a price. There is complementary tea/coffee at the room. Please note in case you arrive way ahead of your check in time of 2 pm you will need to wait untill then cause they are unable to accomodate unless notified a day prior for a price. However they do allow you to leave the bags in the lobby area in case you arrive early and need to leave.

We had a great stay at the Le 55 Montparnasse hotel. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating is because we had an unpleasant experience with the agent who checked us in, she was very rude and not at all helpful. However, the rest of the staff, particularly Rosie, were fantastic, very helpful, and sweet. The rooms are super tiny, not much storage or counter space, but they are comfortable, clean and adequate for our stay. Breakfast buffet had many choices and is continually updated during dining hours. The hotel is centrally located in the 14th Arr. and within a few steps of the Pernety metro station on line 13. It is surrounded by many dining and shopping options and still quiet enough for a restful sleep, unless you have loud neighbors (we did). Overall, this is a fantastic location and a great little hotel!

Misleading photos; rundown and basic
The photos are very misleading - this is a fairly rundown and cramped hotel, I would say closer to two star than three. Service was decent, and it’s right by the subway which is great. But I probably wouldn’t stay there again. We had to lift our sliding bathroom door to be able to close and open it, and there were no hooks for towels in the bathroom, or anywhere else to put them. Having said that, we didn’t pay much for our stay, so if you want a budget place and don’t have high expectations, this could be for you.

My husband and I love this hotel! It is our second visit. Great location right across the street to the metro. Bakery right next door. Perfect hotel for exploring Paris as long as your comfortable taking the metro.

Nice Hotel
Typical for a 3 star hotel. Room was about what I would expect. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good location in a safe neighborhood. Many shops and restaurants nearby. 50 meters from a metro station. Wifi worked very well. We would stay there again.

Staff are very friendly with good English, located right next to the metro station so is very easy to get anywhere! Room was very nice, bed was much more comfortable that I thought it would be! Was cleaned every day by the friendly hotel staff and I can say I would stay here again. The only negative was there is no room service to get food and we read that you’re not allowed to bring food in the hotel from other shops which I thought was quite wrong but other than that was very happy with the hotel, everything we needed for a 4 day break in Paris :)

Very happy with this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Wifi is great. AC is the room,which was wonderful during the heatwave. Metro station right across the street, as well as two bistros and a boulangerie for a quick bite and drink. The creperie on this street is excellent

Awesome!!
Cute little hotel with personal touch. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room type wasn’t available the first night but we were compensated by getting a free breakfast. Awesome typical French flair. Very close to metro, bakery and local restaurants. Loved every minute of our stay here.

I liked the location of the property because of proximity to shops stores restaurants, etc. I did not like the request to turn in my room. Key to the front desk staff each time we left the hotel. The property was also very cramped, with no space in the bathroom.

Overpriced and not worth it
Its a small overpriced room, by the subway though. But not worth it. They tell you that theres free breakfast and then when you check out they charge you 11 Euros per person per day for a basic, toast and cereal breakfast, which is way to much.
