Ideally situated in central Paris.

Posted 23-Sep-2016
Pros: Friendly staff. Fridge in room with tea and coffee making facilities
Cons: More than 1 tea bag provided.
Location: Lots of cafes, bars, and the most fantastic patisseries....nearby!! The Louvre, Pompidou centre, Les Halles all within walking distance.
Within walking distance of the Louvre, shops, cafes galore. In fact a fantastic position. Reasonable taxi ride to major stations.

Great location.

Room was small but adequate. Very clean, as was the whole hotel. Good supply of hot water, towels etc. Located five minutes walk from Louvre, also walking distance to Notre Dame, Muse D'Orsay. the metro, buses. Staff very helpful re directing us to transport, and things in general. Didn't buy the breakfast, thought it was bit expensive but hotel near shops and bakeries. Would recommend it

Ideal location for sightseeing

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: Location and price
My son and I stayed here for 2 nights last week. We actually walked to the hotel from Gard du Nord as the queue for the taxis was so long. It took us about half an hour all down hill no problem at all as long as you don't have big suit cases. The hotel is very clean and our room was modern with everything that we needed. Yes it was small as in other reviews but we were expecting that, and it wasn't a problem. We were there to go out not stay in. We walked to the louvre maybe 5 mins away and found the hop on hop off boat nearby which we used as our transport for all our sightseeing. One morning we had breakfast in the hotel this was ok but seemed expensive so the next morning we went out and bought croissants from bakery nearby. Local restaurants all around we only tried 2 but were more than happy with our food and there were loads of others around to choose from. I would definitely go back.

Dirty room, terrible service. Go Elsewhere!

Posted 16-Jun-2016 on Hotels
A miserable experience. We arrived at the hotel around 8PM to find the hotel door open but small lobby abandoned (security??.) The desk clerk arrived after about ten minutes and we went to our room, a "superior" double. The elevator led to a landing but then we still had to lug cases down ten steps to the back of the building. The room was small - understood but disappointing. But... first the floor light didn't work - bulb was out. Then, on looking in the bathroom, there were long hairs in the shower and sink. Then, trying to use the safe, it said low battery so we tested it with a Euro. The safe wouldn't reopen after that so they have our Euro. We were tired, it was late, it was our only night in Paris and we didn't want to waste our time trying to find the desk and change rooms so we went downstairs and reported the issues. He said he'd take care of it immediately. When we returned a few hours later, of course nothing had been done. In the morning I complained to the desk manager, Said, who said he would contact me by email about some sort of refund, which still hasn't happened. I know hotels are expensive and rooms are small in Paris, but there are hundreds of better options. Do not waste your money here.

Small Clean Room, Phenomenal Location

Posted 13-Jun-2016 on Hotels
The room itself is very small but is clean and does the job for its phenomenal location. Pricing wise, you can't find a better deal for its placement within walking distance of almost every major tourist attraction in Paris. There are restaurants and shops in any direction you look when you step out of the door.

The hotel is in a nice location, very close to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Rooms are clean, nice bathroom and shower. Rooms are very small. No real space in room to sit other than on bed. The wifi is complimentary but very slow. Social media apps reliant on wifi and Internet searching can be painstakingly slow or impossible. Wifi signal in the lobby is a bit better. Front desk staff are generally friendly and helpful. It's a hotel to stay if u want to sleep and shower there. Not a hotel if u wish to enjoy your hotel room and unwind. Rooms are very small. But clean

Decent living conditions, the shower room was really tiny and the room service would not replenish the tea ....otherwise no complaints. Most positive aspect was the location....hard to beat....overall good value for your money in central Paris .
