We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil ambiance of this hotel. It exudes charm and sophistication with its antique furniture and 1920s theme. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. However, it’s important to note that there are no pool or spa facilities, and the TV offers only a limited selection of channels, primarily news channels.

Overall beautiful property! Wonderful amenities, location, and service. Too bad the roof was closed, and the bar closes early so be sure to ask about hours of operation.

Overall the property is very old. The carpet in the room has all kinds of stains it’s quite gross. The room also smells weird. We were there in January and even we turned the heater to max was still very cold in the room. Gym is so tiny. Impossible to workout.

Regarding our gym, we have installed brand new cardio machines beginning of this year, so we are rather disappointed with your feedback. Overall it’s a wonderful hotel and location and the staff is superb! I think the rooms mainly the living and bedroom areas need major renovations to freshen up the space. The carpets, sofa, drapes were all quite worn and better use of the space would make it so much more special especially at the cost.

It was old historical beautiful hotel. I felt I am staying royalty property. Just one thing. There is no soundproof. I was even able to hear someone got up for bathroom use in the middle of night. I am not sensitive at all, but it was that much loud 😢 And floor is carpet which is very very old. If you are sensitive or allergic to carpet, maybe ask to hotel for different room? Otherwise beautiful! Oh! Breakfast was phenomenal as well. I miss it already.

The hotel let me do an early check in 4 hours earlier not a lot of hotels do that and the stuff were very polite and courteous that’s something that I really appreciate also it’s in a good location I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel.

Was a great hotel 20-30 years ago, but went to hell. Management don’t care to take care of guests, filthy carpets, no wall outlets for electrical devices, service despicable. Its not a 5 star, it’s run down junk. Bellman won’t even load your luggage in the car, nor assist with bags. Terrible.

This used to be a good hotel, but condition deteriorated and service has gotten to be very bad. This is August and A/C don’t work, internet keeps cutting out, in-room dining can’t get orders straight, hotel has restaurant, but guests not allowed to order from it for in-room dining. Carpet in rooms has to be 30 years old, bathrooms are deplorable. Horribly managed now.

The Hotel and service was excellent. My only disappointment was the internet which was very slow. I do trading so I found it necessary to buy a French Sim in order to be able to get proper access to the internet. This should be addressed since it spoils the whole 5 star experience

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Raphael for 8 days during the 1st part of July '23. The hotel definitely has its charm. They have worked to maintain its historic and Parisian charm while modernizing in order to provide guest with current features such as wi-fi, flat screen TV and such. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the furnishings fit the time period of the hotel. The Rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is located within walking distance of a plethora of boutiques and eateries ranging from moderate to upscale. The Arc de Triomphe is within a three minute walk. By far the most impressive feature of the hotel was its staff and concierge service which provided us with restaurant reservations, tickets to the Louvre Museum and daily help with general information and directions. The entire staff's disposition was extremely pleasant, polite and very professional. We looked for a hotel which would be unique to the character of the city (Paris) and we were very happy with our selection. The location, ambience and staff made for a beautiful and memorable trip. Some suggestions that could possibly be addressed. My wife and I try to utilize the fitness facilities when traveling. While the fitness room at the Raphael was well equipped, I would probably replace the glide rowing machine with a bench and address the condition for the free weight station. Fabulous property, very friendly customer service. Would stay again but.......the reason we chose the Raphael was for the rooftop patio. This was closed the week of our stay and we were never informed. if informed, we would have chosen elsewhere. very upsetting. love this hotel but.....

Lovely Hotel
Very beautiful hotel in great location! We were so close to Trocadero & Champs Elysses. The whole staff was so friendly our entire stay and made us feel so welcome. The room had a beautiful Versailles style decor and was very nice. We’ll definitely stay again next time and maybe upgrade to a room with Eiffel Tower view.

Hotel Perfection At Its Finest
We absolutely loved Hotel Raphael. From the amazing decor, to the most helpful staff, and comfortable rooms, it was perfect. Sometimes boutique hotels aren't as great in terms of beds and bathroom space. Hotel Raphael has comfortable beds and large bathrooms. There is also tons of closet space. The food in the restaurant and room service was fantastic. The neighborhood is also clean, safe, and an easy walk to great shopping and restaurants - all while avoiding the crowds of more touristy neighborhoods. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris.
