Very clean, nice decor cute room, good breakfast. Very small room, bathroom needed repair, rusty base on shower. Check in 2pm, flight arrived at 6.30 a.m. Would not let us check in even five minutes before, seemed unreasonable.

The air condition is not working during our stay for 2 nights. The room (2 single bed) is incredible small for 2 people. You can hear people talking in the hallway.

A great place to stay. Excellent location, easy to get everywhere. The buffet breakfast was a nice treat; better than other places' continental breakfasts. The dining area/lobby is cozy and personable. The cleanliness was just average. They could do a better job wiping the doorknobs and light switches and walls... crusty smears all about, and a knob in the shower was broken so I couldn't stably position the sprayer, but whatever, It was overall generally clean, really nice stone tile in the bathroom, the room was nice, the bed was cozy, room had a hip feeling, good decor, and the best part, which you cannot get in Paris almost anywhere for the price - is AIR CONDITIONING! YES! That was a life saver in the heat. Room also had a fridge and a safe, AND an electric kettle, which none of the other Paris hotels I stayed in had for that price. Thank you for a lovely 3-day stay. Definitely recommend.

The hotel staff do not like Americans and aren't afraid to let you know. They are inflexible on check-in time, and were affronted when I asked to move rooms for a working a/c unit. It took three rooms before there was a/c. A day later I asked for utensils and received a 10 min lecture on how I had to return them immediately so that they could be used by other guests in the morning. Another coupled also asked for utensils at the same time and were told - in French - that they were happy to provide and to take their time. Hotel is in a great location, but their rudeness is unnecessary. If you do stay here - there's a traffic school directly across from the hotel. A lot of smoking and noise throughout the day and early evening that wafts up to the hotel.

Good but not great.
This is a 3 star hotel, but it's more like your typical Parisian 2 star hotel: nothing special. All Parisian hotel rooms are small, but most are designed so that it works. In my room here, for example, although the bed itself was very comfortable, the bathroom was very poorly designed. The toilet was right next to the shower, which made getting into and out of the small shower more or less impossible. The folks at the front desk were responsible, but unlike at other Parisian 3 star hotels, no one went out of their way to be helpful. In short, rien de special. I won't stay there again.

Room is so tiny there was no space for my bag to be open. No closets either. Thin walls could hear neighbors browsing their phones. Not even high volume. Staff were friendly. Had to leave the key at reception every time I wanted to leave the hotel. Found that inconvenient. No light blinds in case you want to open the curtains no privacy with facing building. Light comes in in the morning. Overall it’s a 3 star hotel in a good location. But many drawbacks for my personal taste.

We had the best time at Hotel Mayet!!! The receptionist were all so very nice, it’s so clean and cute! The area was perfect walking distance to the metro and such a short walk away from Montparnasse. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely book there again!!!

I have to start that the staff was very nice at the hotel . However , the hotel conditions are definitely not to the standard of 3 stars. We asked for a non -smoking room . However, each night and morning we couldn’t sleep due the scent of cigarettes not sure if it was the nearby room or if the windows aren’t sealed properly. The rooms weren’t very clean also , our room door was locked and the maid service instead of knocking just walked right into our room while I was changing. Definitely not coming back not worth the money paid.

TERRIBLE HOTEL
First and foremost this stay was a 1st for two of my friends. They have never been overseas and I feel sorry for them having to experience this hotel. 1) the room was tiny which I understand due to it being Paris. 2) the elevator does not seem up to code. 3) we got stuck in the elevator for more than 30 mins with no help and the emergency services not called. They don’t have a master key to the elevator on site! 4) when asked for a refund they denied. I finally was able to get partial but this has to be the worst hotel ever.

Dirty and not at all like the photos.
We stayed in a family suite and it was really dirty and not at all comfortable. The tiling in the bath was so bad I took a shower with flip flops. The kitchen utensils were all mismatched and dirty and the glasses still had lipstick stains. They even gave us a used sponge for our dishes. It felt like a flop house and not at all like the photos. It was also misleading because we thought we’d be in a hotel but it was an apartment about 3 doors down from the hotel. The Wi-Fi went in and out which was difficult since we had to work on this trip. I don’t recommend this for a digital nomad. The front desk person was very nice. That’s about all the good I can give this place. It felt sloppy and I wouldn’t stay there again.

This property was extremely comfortable and located near the Metro and easily walkable to many popular attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and many cute restaurants were right around the block.

I definitely believe this hotel is 3/5 stars. For being about $150 a night, it was very small and could hardly fit two suitcases. The shower was also so small I had to turn the water off to wash my body and hair and then turn it back on; it was also quite moldy. For positives, the staff was very kind and helpful, and the metro was only a 4 minute walk away.

Not a bad spot to stay in Paris. This hotels biggest plus is its location. You can pretty much walk from here to any major Paris landmark within 30 mins and it’s also in a great area of the city. Rooms are on the smaller side and are a little dated but this is also typical in Paris. Our biggest downside was the walls are very thin and you can hear people all over the hotel even on other floors during the night. Otherwise, staff were friendly and breakfast was good. If you have a little more money to spend I would say look elsewhere but still a very recommendable hotel.

The location was really good and there were many things close to see around Paris. The staff was excellent and friendly, but the room itself, was a disappointment. Moldy bathroom tiles and walls. Plaster chipping off the wall. The air conditioner unit was placed behind a shelf so the air was being blocked by it. The room was way too hot all the time, so we had to leave the window open which allowed the rain to blow in. The bed was springy but the pillows and blankets were perfect. It’s a good place to stay but not for too long.

This is the best tourist class hotel I stayed at while in Paris. Very nicely decorated and finished rooms. Marble bathroom. Super neighborhood location on a side street and very soundproof windows. Friendly and responsive staff.

When I say the amenities were terrible, I only really mean one thing: the AC unit. This thing, for some inexplicable reason, buzzed loudly every 10 minutes whether it was on or off. This buzzing sound was similar to an alarm you could program on your phone, just to give you an idea. It kept me from sleeping at night and when I finally called to ask to be switched rooms, I was told no because there were no other rooms available. This is fair enough, if there are no rooms then there are no rooms, it is what it is, but what was incredibly frustrating was that no solutions were offered. I had to insist for something to be done and finally it was decided to completely disconnect the AC unit which, fortunately, stopped the buzzing, but unfortunately led to an incredibly hot and humid room. I had a horrible night's sleep and was very disappointed by the response of the staff working at that time. Why that AC unit buzzed every 10 minutes is a true mystery and something that never should have been allowed to happen. I rented this room to have a bed to spend the night, had I known I would spend most of the night wide awake, I would have skipped out and found some other place to stay awake for free. Beyond this major issue, this hotel and the room I booked were perfectly serviceable for my needs. I was a solo traveler who really only needed a bed for the night. It just so happened that I didn't get to take advantage of that bed because of an annoying AC unit.

The room was tiny but it was really nice and the bed was comfortable but there was no hot water the entire time so we couldn’t shower which was really bad. This wasn’t the hotels fault though. Something to do with a strike and the power being out to the entire block. It still sucked. Otherwise everything else was great and the people who worked there were so nice and helpful.

The hotel is not in the best of locations and I locked my hotel room and made sure there was something wedged against it too! However, that said, I slept well and it is above a shop and the smell of fresh baked croissants in the morning was very welcome.
