Our stay is pleasant

Posted 23-May-2017
Pros: Staff are friendly and the location is great.
Cons: Bed sheets need to be cleaner, if they can add shower, that would be great.
Location: Louvre is within 5 minutes walking and Paris opera house is just 15 minutes walking.
Our stay was pleasant, the staff there were all friendly, the location was great and we could walk to Louvre. The breakfast can by handy if you don't have much time to spare in the morning. However, sometimes, the bed sheet can be a little dirty, we were not sure if the sheet was changed daily. Also if you are used to shower, it can be a problem, because they only got bath tub, no shower.

so convenient

Posted 14-May-2017
Pros: comfort and convenience, plenty of nearby cafes for breakfast
Cons: Shower was over a v small bath that an adult would be uncomfortable to sit in and shower head difficult to position as floppy.
Location: Great location for exhibitions at Louvre and walks in Tuileries. Hardly need Metro as can walk everywhere, but Metro stop v close
This small hotel is so convenient for the Louvre and other sites. I had a double bedded room for single occupancy which was v comfortable. It would have been a bit small for a couple but fine for a single person. Us singles often get broom cupboards with a single bed, so this was much better. Staff were v helpful and there were no hidden extras on the bill.

Location was amazing as you could walk to all the major sights as most were less than 4 km away.

A great small hotel experience.

Staff were very helpful and tolerant of my limited French. Very close to the Louvre, but in a quiet little street. I loved my four days in the hotel. I could walk to a lot of local attractions.

The hallways to access the room were claustrophobically small. The room was very small with hardly any space to move around. It was very dated, albeit clean.

Perfect and very quiet location near Louvre

Posted 29-Dec-2016
Love this hotel. Not overpriced and it's very quiet with modern clean bathrooms yet set in bedrooms that remind you of the old Paris. Very comfortable for one person or two people and two beds. Located near famous cafés such as the cafë Comedie, and a few blocks away is my favourite the Café Sarah Bernhardt. You can walk five minutes to the entrance of the Louvre, under ten minutes to the Tuileries, fifteen minutes to the Musée d'Orsay and a little over 30 minutes to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Just five minutes from the Seine River and an excellent French bookstore plus street stalls selling all kinds of interesting items ranging from clothes to souvenirs makes this hidden-away gem the ideal quiet stay amid a noisy part of downtown Paris. If a coveted, quiet good night's sleep that's not overpriced is what you're after, without the usual 'extras' offered by chain hotels and big-name establishments, then I suggest you stay there. It's worth it -- convenient, friendly, clean -- and peaceful!

Charming and clean!

Charming! The front manager was very pleasant and helpful. The room was cozy and exactly as pictured. Very easy walk to the Louvre and several nice cafes nearby. As a single female, I felt very safe.

It was a very nice clean hotel. Staff was great and very helpful. We got a complimentary wine bottle and it was delicious. Close to the Luvre museum and major monuments.

VERY SMALL ROOMS.

Pros: Location is great. Cons: very small rooms, small elevator (stopped working like 3 times), small bathroom. Reality is different from the pictures !!
