Perfect and very quiet location near Louvre
Love this hotel. Not overpriced and it's very quiet with modern clean bathrooms yet set in bedrooms that remind you of the old Paris. Very comfortable for one person or two people and two beds. Located near famous cafés such as the cafë Comedie, and a few blocks away is my favourite the Café Sarah Bernhardt. You can walk five minutes to the entrance of the Louvre, under ten minutes to the Tuileries, fifteen minutes to the Musée d'Orsay and a little over 30 minutes to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Just five minutes from the Seine River and an excellent French bookstore plus street stalls selling all kinds of interesting items ranging from clothes to souvenirs makes this hidden-away gem the ideal quiet stay amid a noisy part of downtown Paris. If a coveted, quiet good night's sleep that's not overpriced is what you're after, without the usual 'extras' offered by chain hotels and big-name establishments, then I suggest you stay there. It's worth it -- convenient, friendly, clean -- and peaceful!
