The property is walkable from the rail station as we planned. Our room was kindly upgraded so it was bigger than anticipated but still not huge. The room was lovely and clean with comfy pillows and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were very helpful and recommended Le Bistrot Des Campagnes for dinner which was really good. Breakfast in the hotel was adequate. The area around the hotel has lots of restaurants and the Jardin du Luxembourg is close by. Although the hotel is on quite a busy road we were not disturbed by it.

I wish they would advised us about very loud renovations. Or at least start the renovation later so we could rest in the morning. Otherwise, loved all about the property. Beautiful spacious room in a family friendly area.

Cozy and stylish on Blvd Raspail
Lovely and very comfortable hotel within walking distance of St Germaine des Pres and Montparnasse. Reception was super friendly and helpful. Room 11 had sweet little hallway before entering the room and it was a surprisingly cozy feature, felt as if you were entering your own little apartment. Highly recommend!

Cleaning could be improved!
Well located hotel and renovated overall, but our room was badly cleaned - the shower was full of hair when we arrived and we found someone else’s old, mouldy and melted ice-creams in the fridge… not very nice! Breakfast basic but ok.

The property is quaint and clean. The elevator is tiny, but it is an older building. Staff is friendly and very hospitable. We had 3 in our room with 5 suitcases. We all fit no problem. One bed was a single pullout. Comfortable, and when folded up it certainly was enough room. Independent European hotel’s rooms tend to be on the smaller side, but this was surprisingly large in comparison. Bathroom was very spacious and had 2 sinks. Lots of cafes and bistros nearby. Eiffel Tower is about a 2 mile walk through some great areas. We loved the fresh air walk after a 12 hour plane ride! Definitely would recommend.

My family of 4 had a very comfortable stay here. Quiet, clean, spacious. Beds are great if you have back problems.

This hotel enjoys a great location. It is located very close to a Metro station and many bistros and bars, yet very quiet and safe neighbourhood. My room was clean and the beds very comfortable with soft pillows and cosy duvets. Our thanks to all the staff for their hospitality and hard work! We would highly recommend this hotel as a base for a holiday in Paris! Merci beaucoup!

A well-located, pristine boutique hotel with friendly efficient staff. I stayed with my family (one teenager and one 21 year old) in a room with four twin beds, yet we still had space to move around. The bathroom, with two showers and double sinks, made our stay that much more comfortable. Everything was spotless and apparently recently renovated. No complaints here!!

Wonderful Stay
We were very happy and satisfied with our recent stay at Hotel Le Royal. The rooms were quite spacious and well appointed. It was spotless and the maid service was excellent. We did not avail of the breakfast in the hotel as it didn’t seem worth the price. Thankfully there is a wonderful patisserie boulangerie right across the street, and their offerings were delicious and fresh, for much less. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful hotel at a great location. We will definitely be back!

Hotel le Royal rive gauche - good location – have stayed many times 2012-20 – now post covid some change - though no change in the new very friendly and helpful reception – and a heavenly mattress - refurbished without the taste of before - the double room we booked really only work for a single occupant - one desk one chair - master light switch on man side - one inadequate hook for both bath towels - in the bathroom soap but no conditioner - breakfast extra and surprisingly expensive

Excellent hotel that’s near the Vavin metro, as well as bus line 68 that takes you to Louvre Museum, Opera House and Lafayette Gallery. The breakfast is amazing! Fresh orange juice and grapefruit juice, coffee, individually wrapped cheese, cold cuts, little croissants and chocolatines, bio milk. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff at the Hotel Royal were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but well-appointed, it had every amenity possible and was very clean. We highly recommended the Hotel Royal Paris.
