The property was clean , the breakfast was nice , there were so many food options within walking distance and the metro was also close by as well. It felt very safe to navigate France as a foreigner and the hotel felt safe too.

Clean and comfortable, room for 3
A fun and comfortable hotel in a good location. Afternoon snacks were great amenities to take for walks around Paris. The room for 3 had a great pull out chair bed for our 4 year old. A good option for families.

Decent clean place, good location
I stayed overnight and left early so didn’t spend much time here but the place is decent in a good location. Don’t know if it’s common in hotels in Paris but there weren’t any cupboards - there was an area where I could hang my clothes though. Travelled multiple countries in Schengen area and for some reason my credit card didn’t work at this hotel. I was able to use my c.card at train stations and cafes in Paris. Also, didn’t receive a receipt for my cash transaction either. I didn’t have to use but they provide luggage storage facility as well.

Loved our stay.
Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Amazing for 3* had tea/coffee/water AND coke and juice in the fridge for free and in the evening they had free cakes and biscuits with tea/coffee at reception. Great location - walk to opera house. Moulin rouge stones throw. Staff made the difference. Very clean. Would highly recommend and go back. Excellent value for price

Good value for money
Great location, cafes and restaurants round the corner. very courteous staff. Phillipe at the front desk gave us good recommendations. Very Cheshire and spacious rooms. Decor is interesting and this hotel feels like a happy place. Would stay here again if I was visiting Paris

We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super kind, helpful and friendly. The amenities were very good, the location convenient for shopping especially for last minute gifts. There were many good restaurant options including Ethiopian, Chinese, Italian, classic French bistros, pubs and boulangeries. Loved our stay and very grateful to the wonderful staff!!

Hotel Joke is a unique and comfortable place for families. The decor is whimsical, the rooms comfortable, and staff is accommodating. The breakfast was so-so, but it was convenient enough for us, traveling with a 10 year old, so we didn't have to rush out and find a place to eat before planning our day. I loved looking out over the Parisian rooftops from our 6th floor room. Also, the headboard was a giant magnetic poetry board, and our son loved rearranging it everyday.

Good value for money for being in a hip area in Paris with great transport options nearby. Super walkable. Great food around. Staff were all very friendly!

None of the vip perks were available, even the free breakfast, which says on Expedia webpage. too bad. It's a fun quirky hotel, but the staff don't seem to be interested in engaging with you, to be honest (except for a kind East Asian staff who offered me a bottle of water during my check out). When you ask or inquire, you are left feeling like they just want you to go back to your room. You could at least joke or make small talk when the guest tries... but then again, I am sure they were tired of the jokes. great snack offerings, quite a lot to choose from, and when you ask, they simply tell you to just take all (no smiles, really). Wifi wasn't working well. it connects, but won't give you access to the internet, so my data was drained throughout the night. I asked about it and another staff--no smile-- says, "it works." ok... (but it didn't... well, I stopped asking). The room was fun, quirky, and clean. Location was great, and there's a bus that pretty much takes you to every touristy spots. the small burger joint right across the hotel is a great place to taste some homemade burgers with a french twist. Go for that--not FGuys. A bustling neighborhood, but was still quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. I guess that's good enough. Overall, I'd say it was a great place to stay if you are planning to visit the areas near Moulin Roue, Monmarte, and etc.

Hotel Joke was excellent and provided accommodations that suited our needs. The area around the hotel is also great as it adjoins the Monmarte neighborhood, with easy access to transportation and many choices for food and entertainment.

It's just a unique and quirky hotel. Great location just a block away from Moulin Rouge, tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Also only 1 block away from the Metro.

Great Hotel, Awesome Location
This hotel is PERFECTLY located in Paris near Montmarte, two buses run in front the hotel, and Blanche Station is a 3 minute walk. The receptionist, Alexis, has positive vibes and he actually made me miss my hometown(NYC) while I was talking to him. I absolutely love the fact that there is AIR CONDITIONING & REFRIGERATOR in the room. Summer in Paris is doable with a cold room with cold drinks.

The hotel is fun and light. The staff are super, and do all they can to make their guests comfortable. The morning breakfast is excellent. Quiet and comfortable room. Area has a number of massage parlors and sex shops, better for adult guests than little children.

Great hotel - friendly and accommodating staff, especially when our Eurostar was cancelled and had to stay and extra night. Very helpful and allowed us to stay in the same room to make it easier. Rooms are a good size and the extras thrown in like the soft drinks mini bar and free drinks / snacks in reception after 2pm are a welcome bonus

My kids loved the decor at Hotel Joke and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Many breakfast, drink, and snack offerings. They even have complimentary mini bar so we didn’t have to constantly buy water. The room was also much bigger than I expected. Comfortable beds, sofa bed, and well equipped bathroom. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. My husband lost his cell phone and the staff was very helpful and my husband was able to get his phone back. The hotel is decorated cutely and the breakfast was delicious and there are snacks and drinks all day long free if charge. The location of the hotel is very central and metro is close by. Will recommend to all.

Super option to stay in Paris. This hotel is well located, closed to Pigalle and many metros, but very quiet. The staff was so welcoming and room perfect with many amenities and free tea/coffee and fruits during the day. Breakfast is also delicious ! We will come back !

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, easy access to many restaurants and walking distance to the Basilica. Super clean and there are plenty of drinks and snacks everyday at the lobby free of charge. They also replenished the mini bar everyday. My complaints are the small space in the room, no enough space to put the suitcases.Also the lift can only fit 2 people.

It was a great experience. The hotel was clean and my room had best view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was also great, walking distance to Basilica of the Sacred heart of Paris . The hotel surrounding was also clean It was easy for Uber pick up too. I love their breakfast and with reasonable price. The only issue I had was my room was too small for two twin beds but the bathroom was perfect though. I would stay again here and recommend it to my friends and family❤️

Four of us traveled there for business from London. They tried to cancel our rooms while we were on the eurorail. Fortunately three of us answered our phones. The fourth wasn’t so lucky, and they cancelled him. The kicker is that when we arrived, they tried to sell him a room at a steep rate due to it being a “last minute” booking. Yep: they tried to sell him his old reservation at a higher price.
