This hotel was in the perfect area with kind, helpful staff! We loved the location which was near the Latin Quarter and easy walk to the gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens. The breakfast was delicious and full of different options. The rooms are quaint, but well kept and clean. We definitely will stay again in the future!

We would definitely stay at this hotel again and we will recommend it to our friends and family. The breakfast each morning was extremely good!

Property was great for what we paid. The hotel is smaller/boutique. Not everything is renovated. We ended up with a room for 3 people cause we came too early for check in and came back after 5/6pm. There were some water damage on the wall and dust on the shelves I had to clean myself. Overall it was an okay stay. Some staff were helpful but some came off odd, possibly the language barrier, we don’t speak French. I picked the hotel due to its location, luggage storage as back up and they serve breakfast for a fee as early as 7am.

Room was fairly small, but we made it work as a couple. But overall, the hotel is excellent and is fairly close to all of the monuments especially by Uber.

For starters I booked a triple room “double and twin bed”. We had a double bed and a rollaway bed. I do not find that acceptable when it’s not what I requested. Our rather tall son wasn’t thrilled with it either. He had a proper bed in our London hotel and in Brugge. A large screw fell out of the door handle to the bathroom just after we went to our room. We handed it over at the front desk expecting it to be fixed. No! We were left with a door handle partially coming off. The drainage in the bathroom seemed to troublesome. The shower wouldn’t drain and kept flooding. My husband decided to try and fix it himself as he thought it would be pointless telling the front desk. He shoved the hose of the hand held shower down it to clear the blockage and voila - it didn’t flood anymore! No more black gunky bits swirling around our feet. The sink wouldn’t drain properly either. Took forever. No replenishment of bottled water in the room either.

Beautiful boutique hotel in standard size euro fashion. Note only a 3 star so no wash clothes available. The staff went above and beyond to assist with everything. Evening staff was amazing in customer service Recall his name was Steinen, special thanks to him!!

Beautiful Hotel, Friendly Staff
I had the most wonderful stay at Hôtel des Mines! The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout the duration of my stay. It’s a beautiful location right by the Luxembourg Gardens. The room was a great size for solo & couple travelers. I stayed alone and never felt unsafe in this area or the city. I look forward to returning soon at Hôtel des Mines!

Loved this property…not the tub
Love this property. Was in a great area close to a lot of things. There was even a market near by where we got water and some light food. Only down side was our shower/tub, was not placed in the best place.

Great Value, Location & Service!
We stayed at Hotel Des Mines for 3 nights- the location was perfect. Metro station just outside and super close to the Latin Quarter, which has some great places to eat and drink. Very clean hotel- the superior double room was very spacious! Would highly recommend for a short trip to Paris.

Clean, convenient and friendly hotel
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet part of Latin Quarter and close to many amenities and public transportations. There are supermarket, bakery and family fast food nearby. The room is clean and bathroom has been renovated. We were allowed to leave the luggages with the front desk before check in and after check out, which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Thank you!

Lovely hotel located in a great area close to Metro RERB. We didn’t try the breakfast prefering to eat out each morning but it looked and smelled good .. perhaps not best value at €13 each though. The staff were very helpful and tolerated our poor french with great humour. Our standard double room was pretty small so we would upgrade next time but would definitely stay again

My single room was small, but very comfortable and perfect for my stay. It also has 24 hour security, which is helpful when you arrive in the early hours and the continental breakfast was also really good.

Excellent value. Very convenient. Close to all amenities and a short walk from Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou Ctr., etc. Metro and RER stops are nearby with direct connections to CDG.

The new young man in the staff was extremely welcoming and happy to offer any help, which was very appreciated. I was looking for a restaurant in the area and he did some research for me. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the bedding was very good.

Good value in great area
A small room but big enough for one (I think it was a double room which would have been a bit tight). On main road but my room was at the back and quiet, nice simple breakfast with view to the street, friendly staff. Ideal for self funded business travellers. A few yards from the station with direct trains to Gard du Nord (Eurostar) and airport. A few minutes walk to Luxemburg Gardens, Pantheon and Notre Dame
