A lovely comfortable hotel
Location was in walking distance to Notre Dame etc. The staff at front desk were very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again. Good restaurants nearby.

Best local spot!
What a fabulous hotel right in the heart of a true local vibe! This is where you can have the best of everything that Paris has to offer . The reception staff are also very helpful if you get stuck for direction! Very much enjoyed our stay thank you Hotel Delambre :)

We enjoyed our stay.
We had to catch a train from Montparnasse in the morning so the location of this hotel was convenient. There are lots of dining options around as well as shopping. The hotel was clean, quiet and the reception staff were welcoming. Good value for money.

Nice people. In my old neighborhood, Montparnasse, where I loved 50 ydars ago. Paul Gauguin lived there. The room was perfect! It epitomizes Paris.

Understandably small for european standards. Clean. No air conditioner. Opened windows to bring fresh air and unbelievably quiet. Staff was helpful with directions. Laundromat nearby. Many options for food, but mostly crepe restaurants. Nice grocery store nearby for essentials. Breakfast had fair amount of choices but staff did not refill items promptly so you either waited a long time or just ate what was available.

When we checked in, they had no elevator service. Our room is on the 5th floor. My husband is 70 with heart disease and Parkinson’s. I tried explaining to no avail. We had to make multiple trips with our luggage which meant, I, at 62 had to carry most of the luggage. I asked for another room closer to the lobby but was told NO. The bath had a shower with no partition or curtain. The water floods the floor. Our WORST Expedia experience. I expect remuneration

The hotel is located in an area that has a lot of eating places as well as close to a weekend market. It has character and is nice area to walk around. The hotel is basic but is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and can speak English. It is also easily assessible by the metro.

Great location, Great hotel
This area is brilliant for access to cafes, restaurants, parks and metro. The hotel staff were very welcoming and super-helpful and family friendly. We took the mini-suite on the top floor - two linked bedrooms (double and twin) and an en-suite. Ideal if you are travelling with one or two children, as they effectively get their own room you can close off if wanted! It's in the roof, so the ceilings slope and you will bang our head at some point around the edges of the room, but we had seen that from the photos already. The rooms are lovely, good aircon too. As it's in the roof, you have to climb one set of stairs after exiting the elevator. Both rooms in the suite have TVs, there's also a fridge and safe. Room is totally quiet too. Have stayed in this area a few times, but first time in this hotel, which is our new favourite.

I've stayed at the Delambre a number of times before and it's still a very pleasant and convenient place. No frills, but extra clean and well appointed. Good breakfast, I'll go there again.

We loved this hotel! Authentic! Non touristy location. The Montparnasse neighborhood is fabulous! The street is small but has everything you need. We were surrounded by great cafes, boulangeries, restaurants, boutiques! We were in the mini suite on the top floor. So private and quiet. The staff was fabulous! We will go back!

I didn't particularly find the front Staff that helpful. They couldn't recommend any restaurants for us to have dinner at and knew nothing about any sightseeing tours we could catch close by. The breakfast was expensive and had little to offer. Definitely not worth it. This hotel is overrated for the quality of service and hotel amenities.

Perfect location to museums, gardens, restaurants, transportation and travel sights. Good quality food, great quantity for breakfast. Friendly and helpful concierge service at every instance needed. Quite comfortable bed.

great little hotel in a terrific neighborhood
We really enjoyed the location of this place, right in the theater district. The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and kind. Just about every meal we ate in the neighborhood around the hotel and we never went wrong--great food, for any budget. We had the suite--a double room for the parents and two twins in a separate room for the teens. That worked out great and was budget-friendly. The only drawback was the extreme pitch of the roof in the bathroom...hard to shower standing up! Also, the suite is on the top floor and not disabled-accessible, FYI.

We stayed here for 3 nights and can say I do not have a bad word to say about the hotel. It is in a great location with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance as is the metro station and a major train station. We felt safe in the area at night and the hotel staff we exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The check in process was very quick and efficient. The hotel rooms have all what you need, they are on the small side (understand that is normal in Paris) and there is little storage space which is not a problem for a short break. There was no shampoo or shower gel so had to pop out and get some but not a big issue. There is a only a small lift and the stairs are steep so may not suit those with mobility problems. The beds were comfortable if a little small. We had clean towels provided every day. Value for money I found the hotel very good by Paris standards and would stay there again if visiting Paris.
