Walking distance to many attractions

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Pros: The friendly staff, cleanliness, and its location.
Cons: Coffee for Americans
Location: We could walk to the Seine, Louvre, Effile tower and so many more famous locations
We had such a lovely time at this hotel. The staff went out of their way each day to make sure we had everything we needed and were so helpful with directions and suggestions for sightseeing.

Perfect Hotel Right in the Heart of Paris

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: It had its own individual charm with friendly staff who were always available to give good advice on visiting the attractions in the city.
Cons: The breakfast room was a little cramped when busy but I don't see how that could have been improved given the space available.
Location: Perfectly placed 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro with the Champ Elyesse and the Eiffel Tower only a short walk away. Plenty nearby restaurants.
We were looking for a good hotel with a bit of French flare rather than the bland character of some of the larger groups. We were not disappointed! The room was very nice, comfortable with reproduction period furniture giving it the feel we were looking for. There was a Julliet balcony that opened onto the quiet side street the hotel was situated on that allowed us to air the room and enjoy the sounds of the city in the background. It was quiet at night and the large comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep to ready us for the days exploring the city. We spent a week here and filled each day with visits to all of the Paris attraction you could want to see. Eating out at the many nearby restaurants was expensive but there is a wide choice within 5 minutes walk, and getting away from the main streets tuned up some more reasonably priced options. We used the Metro widely, especially to get to Montmartre and the Galleries La Fayette and would recommend it as we found it quick, cheap and convenient.

clean, very french and great location

Posted 18-Sep-2016
Pros: The traditional french feel
Cons: choice of drinks available at bar
Location: the eiffiel tower, dinner cruises, shopping, arc de triumph
It was spotlessly clean, a short walk from all the major tourist sites and high end shops on your doorstep. The decor has an antique feel but is new with a traditional french theme. Bedrooms are spacious by central paris standards. Our room had french doors overlooking the court yard which was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, it was a oasis away from the traffic of Paris.

This little "gem" made our holiday!

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: The location is perfect being within walking distance to many of the main sites. We loved the breakfast selections each morning. Surprisingly quiet.
Location: Two blocks to the river Seine; a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower; 10 minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe; 5 minute walk to the Champs Elysees.
We spent eleven days at the Chambiges Elysees. What a beautiful little hotel in the heart of Paris. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, in particular, Latissa, who spoke English very well and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. All the staff spoke English and were great to deal with during our stay. Our standard room was larger than we anticipated with a queen-sized bed and very comfortable with two large, floor to ceiling windows. The hotel was immaculate and surprisingly quiet considering the central location. We looked forward to the breakfasts each morning since everything was fresh - fruit salad; assortment of cheeses, pastries and croissants; eggs; sliced meats; breads, etc. The hotel is within walking distance to many sites like the Eiffel Tower; Arc De Triomphe; Champs Elysees; the Louvre and many more! With the hotel being so small and quiet it was an oasis after our busy days of site-seeing. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful little, quintessentially French hotel.

Fabulous location

Posted 25-Aug-2016
Location: Close to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Metro easily anywhere else you need to go.
We stepped off the metro to a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower and walked just a few minutes to our lovely hotel on a quiet street in a safe and lovely area of Paris. Although it wasn't right in the middle of all the "action" of Paris, we were a short metro ride to anywhere we wanted to go. The room was elegant, the staff helpful, and we had the most delightful time exploring the city with this as our home base. Breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Would highly recommend.

Nettes Hotel mit Schwächen

Posted 22-Aug-2016

Lovely hotel in a good location. Great breakfast.

Posted 13-Aug-2016
This hotel is in a very good location for exploring the main attractions in Paris. It is close to two metro stations and near the Champs Elysees. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We loved the free breakfast - a very good continental selection including boiled eggs, cold meats and cheeses, cereals, toast and pastries.
