That special Montmartre atmosphere.....
Abbesses metro station escalators were under repair, but Hotel Audran is about equidistant from Pigalle and Blanche, so ideally located.
The hotel staff were helpful, friendly, and couldn't do enough for us.
Room 51 was quiet and of a good size for a typical Parisian hotel. Our only criticism of the room was of the plumbing: the taps were connected the "wrong way round", so turning the tap to the left gave cold instead of hot water, but it didn't take long to get used to it.
Breakfasts were adequate and were each day identical. The breakfast menu offered cereal, but none materialised. Not the end of the world.
All in all, a satisfactory experience and we would come back again.
