Very romantic and sexy room. Breakfast was amazing

Posted 29-Nov-2017
Pros: Service. Room is cool and sexy.
Cons: Hard to say. There's always room for improvement, but I felt it got stuffy in the room at night. I had to open the windows in the morning.
Location: Great location near Republique.
Loved it. They are very hospitable and professional. Highly recommend. Breakfast is delivered every morning to the room. We loved the service. :)

Not as advertised

Posted 25-Nov-2017
The rooms are very small, be careful if you are disabled or find stairs difficult, as it is not made clear and was a problem for me, if they are fully booked and put you on the 6th floor, there is no lilt to the 6th floor, the last floor is stairs. The location is good a busy area of Paris.

Well appointed room

Although the room was small, it was well layed out and very functional. The hotel is conveniently located close to Place Republique. The room decor was lovely with a very comfortable bed.

We loved Hotel Angely

Posted 21-Sep-2017 on Hotels
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Angely! The bed was comfortable, the shower was terrific and a delicious breakfast was delivered to our room every morning! The room was small but truly one of a kind -- we are already talking about returning to Paris and staying here again.

Funky, boutique hotel

Posted 15-Sep-2017 on Hotels
The hotel is very close to Oberkampf/Republique metro stops, so very handy. The room was very clean and modern. The reception staff were very helpful (mostly) and let us leave our bags after check-out until we were ready to leave for the airport. The breakfast costs €10 but there are plenty of places nearby to get coffee and a croissant a little cheaper. The WiFi was in and out.

Close to the Republic metro station but that's it.

After extensive travels and a low maintenance guest in general I would have to say that I am Very disappointed with our stay here. A few days before arrival I received an email stating that my reservation will be canceled if I don't send them my credit card number even though it was prepaid. They then sent me another email stating it is as a mistake and they would upgrade us. This never happened. As well, our AC wasn't working in our room but they didn't care, didn't fix it and didn't offer any concessions or apologies. The room was trying to be new with design but very dated. Don't waste your time on the breakfast unless you like croissants as there is very poor selection. As well, breakfast is at the hotel across the street. This hotel doesn't offer any perks in the room. They even charge 3 euros for a coffee in the lobby that most hotels offer complimentary. Find another hotel if you can.
