Can’t believe people complain about this hotel, my daughter and I stayed for three nights and can’t fault it. Remember you are staying in Paris where prices are high, this hotel offers value for money. The bed, mattress and sheets were clean and so comfortable. Staff very kind and professional. Location: 10 minute walk to Moulin Rouge, another 10 minutes to Sacre Coeur, great base for exploring Paris. Metro about 2 minutes away. Would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel.

Have stayed at 3 different hotels in the area and this is by far the best at similar price. There are more plush hotels at much higher prices and the bathroom space is limited but modernised rooms, very comfy bed and fantastic staff really interested in helping you

The room and the staff are very nice. We were even able to do the check in a little early! Breakfast is good (at an additional cost) and had a lot of variety of options. The bathroom was a little less pretty in comparison with the room but always clean. Interestingly we had a bidet! The hotel is very well connected to the rest of Paris. We had a nice stay.

Great Budget Hotel in Paris
We chose this hotel because it was close to the Embassy. There were other hotels in the area, but this had reviews that met what we were looking for. We needed one night stay to arrive and then check out to get to our appointment. The reviews that influenced me to book were - great budget hotel in Paris - updated rooms and interior - clean - friendly and helpful desk people What we experienced - clean room - the room was small, but we only needed a bed and a place to put our stuff ... so not an issue. - wifi in the room. easy to connect to - GREAT shower - great communication and friendly Some improvements - shower towel rackl fell off, easy to hook back up ... no biggie, but should be fixed - Overall We needed a bed for one night to get our business done. Arrived afternoon left early. That went smoothly, someone was always there. Sheets were clean. Bed was comfortable. No problems. Would recommend.

A downtown experience
It is a downtown hotel, close to the metro and restaurants. It was a unique way to experience France. The elevator was very small, but the room was clean and the bed nice.

While price is reasonable I expected more from a 3 star hotel. No safe in room, bathtub is old, double bed is so small.

Thr hotel ambassadeur is one of the oldest hotels in Paris and it could look old and inconvenient to stay but its going under renovation so im sure it can live uo to a bigger standard after all renovations have been made. But overall not bad, and the staff is super nice and helpful. Would like to go back in the future to see its progress!.

Classic budget hotel in the middle of Paris.
This hotel is not a five-star hotel. But you’re not looking for a five-star hotel, you’re looking for a solid budget hotel - and you’ve found it here. It is an older building, and there are places where that is evident, but it appears to be pretty well maintained. Mattress was firm and comfortable, shower/toilet/AC/heat worked. The staff were helpful and attentive; check in/out was quick and easy.

Lovely old building in the Montmarte area. Cute walkable safe neighborhood with plenty of food nearby. There are zero amenities at this hotel. Not even coffee in the room. The room was VERY small. Just big enough for the bed and our bags. The elevator is also very small and long wait time. Beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from our room though and it was a good place to just keep our stuff while we traveled around the city and saw the sights.

Enjoyable four night stay.
Attentive staff, breakfast an excellent value.. Don't miss a visit to the roof after dark - some pretty great views. Close to transit. Only downside is the thon walls you can hear sounds from adjoining rooms. Will stay there again next time in Paris.

I would love to give more information about this hotel, unfortunately they refused to refund (I informed them more then a week before) and did not want to change the reservation to a further date. Might be a great place, wouldn't know; there goes 180 euros completely in the drain! (or directly in their pockets)!

I loved the location and my stay there. It was easy to to get to places with train and bus in that location. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were excellent. Will go back there to stay in my next visit to Paris.

Nice hotel great view
One male staff was very helpful on answering questions on how to get to places and another male staff scheduled a taxi for me to take me to the airport for my check out day, so I didn’t have to call myself. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning service comes to clean the rooms everyday around 10-11 am. Next time I go to Paris I will go back to this hotel !

Convenient Hotel close to Montmartre.
I stayed 5-nights at the Ambassadeur. The staff were friendly and the lobby and hallways were clean. The rooms not so clean. The bathroom was in need of upgrades. Lots of mold around the tub. The walls are paper thin. I had to knock on the walls a couple times to get my “neighbors” to quieten down so I could sleep. At least Paris was living up to being a romantic city as the neighbors next door on the opposite side were partaking in extracurricular activities. It’s Paris so I didn’t have the heart to knock on the walls that time to get them to stop. All in all I was satisfied with my stay and would stay there again. Breakfast was basic but kept me going until lunch.

A good value and what we expected. Hotel is in district 17 near the Sacre Couer Basilica with lots of dining and shopping options. Close to the metro and a couple miles from the Champs Elysee and popular attractions. The concierge (gentleman) was very helpful the night we checked in- recommendations for meals, etc. The woman (day shift) was a different story. Rude, unhelpful, snarky that our French wasn't impeccable. Really an interesting contrast. I'm thick skinned and didn't let it bother me- the hotel was still a good value for the price and location- just might help to know what to expect.

Not so fast.
The Hotel advertises a inexpensive rate and free wi-fi but that is somewhat misleading. You get two hours of free wifi but for some reason you don't really get that since the service seems to shut off at 9 each morning. Then you have the option of buying 2 or 24 hours service. The 2 hour service is 4 Euros per person. You can reserve a roomwithout breakfast but unfortunately, they attempted to charge us $8.50 per morning per person for a breakfast that we didn't order and didn't use. The male concierge/receptionist is a delight and very helpful. The rooms were not bad and the location was pretty good. This would be quite a bargain if the hotel was upfront about all the fees and didn't try to flimflam the customer with the add ons.
