Great hotel walking distance of left bank

Pros: There is a small bar on the roof with fabulous views of Paris
Cons: The only thing my wife and I talked about that could be improved was the lack of a rubber bath mat for the shower. This is a safety issue.
Location: Lots of shopping, dining especially crepes, the left bank, Notre Dame Cathedral, hop on, hop off bus, small streets without cars
Many small streets with lots of mom and pop shops and restaurants. The choice of establishment was great for us but the pressure on them was enormous. I don't understand how they can all make money but the quality of food and the ambiance of all we chose was top notch. This was our first visit and the only negative we had was that we couldn't stay longer.

Perfect location, close to everything.

Pros: The location is ideal and it is reasonably priced.
Cons: This hotel is very clean and functional although the rooms are small. To change anything would mean an increase in the price.
Location: Everything is nearby. Louvre, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, St.Germain, Seine. Great restaurants and cafes. The metro is right there
This is a nice clean hotel and the price is just right. The location is ideal. Walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, shopping on St. Germain and wonderful restaurants and cafes. There is also easy access to the Metro and the tour bus stop is nearby. This hotel is not the Parisian experience you might get from some of the more expensive hotels but the roof top bar has panoramic views of the city that are priceless!

Location is the only good thing.

Pros: Staff, dated hotel.
Cons: Coustomer service
Location: Location was the best thing.
Had really bad experience at this hotel. The staff did not seem to care that our room had a water leak and smelled as such. Simply put I would not stay here or would recommend this hotel.

Location: Within walking distance to great cafes and sightseeing. Metro station close by.
Easy, friendly check in. And really nice location. Will stay here again.

overall the stay was fine but the water in the shower not got hot and the window between the bedroom and the bathroom was very awkward.

We had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus, they spoke very good English. The breakfast was worth the price - lots of different options.

Second stay here

Pros: This hotel has excellent staff, it is centrally located, and it is very modern.
Cons: Check out your bed when you are first assigned the room!
Location: It is close to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. Close to a metro stop. Within a 5 min walk to the B line to take to CDG airport.
The first time we stayed here we were very impressed, but for this stay we only stayed for a night to get a good nights sleep before heading back to the states. The bed was old and lumpy and the pillows were awful. We were so disappointed since we had such a great room while here 3 weeks ago for a week. We made the mistake of not checking out the bed until late at night and by then we were so exhausted we didn't want to pack and move into a different room.
