Fantastic, classic farm house. Super cozy and host is super accommodating! 10/10 will book again for our next staycation. Beautiful walk with the dogs down by the Ashby Inn-Ovoka Farms!!!
My wife & I loved this property, the screened in porch & upstairs lounge were the highlights for us! Quiet little street and lots of outdoor space to let the dog out too. We would love to stay again in the future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It was convenient for all of our activities and was a quiet and pleasant retreat. The cottage was cozy and clean and very pleasing.

The PERFECT stay! We came for the Upperville horse show and you cannot beat the location of this charming cottage. Close proximity to dining, grocery stores, wineries, horse show, and on a quiet street. William was an excellent host with attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and quick and responsive to any questions.
This was the perfect place to stay to hike on the AT. The screened in porch was lovely at night. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was very comfortable.
Very charming home that was clean and comfortable. The screened in side porch was perfect for morning tea and reading. Lovely country roads for walking right out the front door. Great place to stay.
We were very happy with our stay at this cottage. We're always looking for historic houses to stay in on our trips and this one did not disappoint. We loved sitting by the fire at night and enjoyed the screened-in porch on the rainy mornings. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! This cabin in Paris, VA was everything I was looking for and more. Clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The arboretum up the road was also a nice treat to enjoy. I can't wait to come back for another stay.
Everything about the place was very nice. Had a rustic charm to the place and was a nice get away to the wilds. Many places we wanted to go visit were very close by. The response time from the owner was very fast, and the place was very accommodating.
The cottage was wonderful! It was so welcoming and truly felt like a home away from home! We enjoyed visiting Hunters Head Tavern in Upperville for dinner and visiting Three Fox's Vineyard. We will definitely be back to enjoy the fire pit and beautiful back yard space.
Will's house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything needed for a great stay. The fireplace was a wonderful addition that I didn't expect, and I really enjoyed drinking my coffee in front of it. Paris is a truly tiny village with some of the most breathtaking views of mountains and valleys anywhere. The "golden hour" there can't be beat!
Cozy, small house that is close to the mountains & hiking. Sky Meadows State Park is very close; the ridge above includes the AT. Civilization vis a vis Middleburg, Marshall, and Purcellville are all within a pleasant, half-hour drive.
Eating in the screened-in porch was great!
This was a perfect spot for us to spend a long weekend. It was a quaint home in a lovely little neighborhood very close to the Ashby Inn. Had everything we needed. A comfy bed, working kitchen, lovely porch - 2 actually - and good sitting areas indoors as well. We did a few hikes in Sky Meadows, visited bakeries, and orchards. Great place to call home for a few days.
Such a pretty, historic area. The house was really perfect, lovely decor, very comfy big bed, fun loft, lovely screened porch. Will was so easy to get in touch with and even made a quick change in our dates at the last minute. I would love to go again in the fall and see the colors in the mountains.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Paris. William was the perfect host and provided us detailed information prior to our arrival. Everything we needed was provided to us in the cottage. The location was perfect to access Sky Meadows State Park and several wineries. We enjoyed the extra amenities, such as the backyard fire pit, loft media room, and the grill.
We spent 3 nights in this charming cottage to celebrate our anniversary. This historic property is well maintained, comfortable, and peaceful. Great location to explore the beauty and history of rural Virginia. There are several excellent restaurants within a 20 minute drive. The host was welcoming and responsive. Exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for couples looking for a weekend getaway!
The cabin was very well decorated and clean. It had a small but updated and well designed kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has a beautiful and comfortable bed with an adorable screened in porch attached. The owner was very quick to answer messages and always a pleasure to deal with.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at your home. It was far nicer that I'd expected and just perfect for a short getaway. Quiet, comfortable.
We enjoyed the proximity to Upperville and Middleburg, and large property. Besides the house, the back yard, sitting area, and even the side porch were easy and enjoyable to use.
I hope to be back.
