Ghosted us as we arrived in France and did not answer our calls, texts or emails to give us check in information. Left us without a place to stay in a foreign country and city. VRBO was no help either. We were very fortunate to find a hotel to stay in but had to pay an exorbitant rate.

The host never answered to messages and had provided a false phone number. When I informed Vrbo/Abritel/fewo-direkt of this more than one month before the stay they told me to just wait - it would be alright. But I ended up having to quickly find another place to stay and haven’t been refunded yet. Don’t book this!
