Let’s start with I have 2 rooms booked on this stay. One room has a shower and the other has a tub/shower.There is no shower curtain and it has a waterfall shower head. Upon seeing this asked if I could get another room with just a shower because I already knew what was going to happen.So I am told there are 2 other rooms avail but wasn’t told where but the manager had to check to see if they had showers. When he returns he says there is only 1 and it’s on the 6th fl. When I decline because it is 5 floors away from my kids and there is only one tiny elevator he gets annoyed, sucks his teeth and nasty from that point forward. After a shower and water is all over the floor I’m told now towels for that. Now the elevator, it’s super tiny and the cleaning staff is riding it with guest and all of their cleaning supplies, they even hold the door open while they are loading the supplies and you wait rather than let it go because customers are on it. Now this key nonsense! There is one key per room with a round magnet on it. You are only allowed this ONE key and you have to leave it a the front desk every time you go out. There are no ice machines or fridges and if you want ice you have to get it from the front desk person who goes from giving out keys and touching money to pulling ice cube, with his bare unwashed hands, from a silicone red tray out of the “bar” fridge, that he refills with tap water. Usually the Best Western chain is better than this. BEST WESTERN needs to fix this.
