Paripueira Beach is a glorious stretch of sand with natural pools and shallow water. It is the site of one of the world’s largest networks of coral reefs. Walk a fair distance into the ocean with the water barely covering your knees.

Paripueira Beach overlooks the Atlantic Ocean on Brazil’s northeastern coast. It is 19 miles (30 kilometres) north of Maceió and 160 miles (260 kilometres) south of Recife.
