"Lovely place, quiet but well located, friendly and helpful staff. I also found the aromatherapy to be a nice touch. I would stay here again if in Porto. "

"You basically no contact with staff, only when you go down for breakfast on the first day when she ask the room number, after that she will ignore you the whole time.
Don’t bother including breakfast unless you like boiled eggs. My son did not even went down for breakfast for the 3 days that we were there because there was only boiled eggs and toast."

"Let me start by saying they have the best hotel reception staff ever. Truly. Down to earth, genuinely cool, helpful, all around amazing. The “concept” of the box design room though is not for everyone. It’s more of a capsule hotel. I found many aspects of the box a bit frustrating: the room lacks basic amenities (think ledges for your toiletries bags, a ledge in the shower for your soap/toiletries, basic hooks for towels, etc). It’s frustrating because these “hyper-minimalist designs” sometimes veer on basic cheapness. And that’s what it sadly felt like.
I’m also very short and the ceilings were extremelyyyy low, so I don’t know how my 6’1 friends/family could ever stay here. I would
not recommend this hotel is anyone with claustrophobia, etc since there are no windows either.
That said, I had an amazing night’s sleep but the overall design was not for me. I’m a design editor/writer so…yeah…it didn’t hit. BUT the staff was top tier/5 star. Rooftop is lovely, too."
"Clean and spacious room overlooking the square. Despite me being very frazzled on arrival after a long wait at immigration ( new rules) the staff were marvellous, kind and accommodating. Thank you ."
"Excellent service and accommodations. Very good breakfast buffet, and À la cart menu. Very easy to check in and check out. A wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a very similar experience in Florence Italy."
"We were here for business and had just stayed at this location a few weeks before. The first time the staff working was different and were friendly and helpful. We were also given an upgrade to a suite. We had our pup and the staff loved him. This time the guy that helped us was not as friendly and helpful mumbled rather than speaking clearly and looking at me when speaking. We were not offered anything although we are VIP Hotel.com users. I didn’t enjoy this stay as much as the the previous stay."
"One of my favorite stays. Great big rooms, super clean. Very close to the main strip on the Gaia side (my opinion, the better side). Staff were excellent."
