"We arrived amidst a torrential downpour. We made our way in to the Hotel reception only to find no one there. After calling a few phone numbers we were instructed to backtrack down the road and check in at another hotel (I’m assuming there is an affiliation of some sort). We found this to be extremely time consuming when a general check in usually takes about 5 mins. All told this process set us back at least another 30 minutes. Did I mention the downpour accompanied by lightning and thunder. The only saving grace at this point was when we had made our way back to the original hotel we were able to unpack the car under a covered entrance. I was however soaked right through by the time I got to my room after parking the car. My only complaint with the room was a blood stain about the size of a quarter on the edge of my pillow which I noticed in the morning before we checked out. All in all the room suited us fine for one night. I think the whole check in process though needs to be revamped."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Motel Pike River! The house was very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. You could really tell that a lot of care went into making the house welcoming and enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely book here again and would happily recommend it."

"L'acces au canoe et kayak est tres bien, cepenant, nous avons eu a les nettoyer un peu avant de les utiliser.L'eau du lac était un peu haute et on ne peut pas dire qu'il y avait une plage devant le chalet (ceci n'est pas de la faute au propriétaire, il faut juste en tenir compte si on croit aller passer une semaine a la plage...). Nous avons cependant pris les embarcations pour nous rendre a la plage du camping Champlain en nous assurant de ne pas déranger personne avec les embarcations.Puisque le condo est au deuxieme étage, il faut monter un escalier pour s'y rendre. Ce n'est donc pas conseillé pour une personne avec difficulté de déplacement, encore moins en fauteuil roulant. Le bon coté par contre c'est qu'il n'y a pas de voisin en dessous alors on ne craint pas de déranger qui que ce soit.Autrement, l'endroit était tres propre et bien climatisé avec vue sur le lac.Merci a Roxanne pour ses services."

"Je recommande a 100% nous avons été seulement pour 1 nuit mais nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. Endroit intime, parfait avec des jeunes enfants un air de jeux avec beaucoup de quoi s'amuser pour eux, chalet vraiment propre et aussi très bien équipé."

"oui ont a adore notre chambre tres propre beau ,et chaleureux restaurant tres beaux les repas etais bon . le probleme pour moi etais le stationnement pour andicapee aucun,loin de la porte dentre et le restaurant loin du lobby dhotel moi je marche avec bequille chanseux quil ne pleuvais pas .a par de sela cetait fameux. merci"

"Nous n’avons manqué de rien au chalet. C’était propre et convivial. Un bel espace extérieur. La description était bien faite. Endroit calme proche du lac. Bonne communication avec l’hôte."
