"Clean and comfy beds and room.Breakfast was great.The waterside with pool is great for the kids. My son had a great time! Would recommend this hotel A+++"

"showerhead doesn't move and flooded the bathroom toilet never stops moving water throughout the night and no it's not the handle being down bathroom smells like mildew jacuzzi in the executive suite floods over the tub because the spout lacks a little plastic cap and it spurts in a 360 jet moving a large amount of water straight to the floor and tub lip room smells extremely smoked in huge mirror held onto the wall with duct tape of 6 provided bath towels for the leaks and tub, 1 had holes and a few smelled like kitchen oil for some reason bed is okay window doesn't open and the smoke smell permeates your clothes heater doesn't work tv works jacuzzi and it's jets in the were okay besides the leaks but there is no real protection against mist or dampness exiting into the room so all the walls felt wet would not recommend unless you really want a jacuzzi for under 90cad"

"Our stay at Hotel Universal was pleasant and convenient. We were in from Calgary for the Canadian Championships for soccer and it was only a 1/2 block away. The staff were helpful and the restaurant was good food. I would recommend this hotel."

"Very inexpensive but two of the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The host did not speak English and did not notify us that we could not park on the road. Many of the kitchen supplies were either broken or damaged including the oven and the toaster. Other than that the room was relatively clean "
