"This hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay. Free parking and quiet. Bed was excellent! Room was perhaps a little small and would have liked a body wash. Great otherwise."

"We found the check in cold and unfriendly. We were bluntly told that the breakfast was not included since we didn’t book directly. Room vacuum cleaner had not been passed correctly in our room. Disappointment in our suite with no additional extras then a regular room. Room was expensive and we had to pay extra even to park outside. At least The penthouse king bed was clean and comfortable. Check out was not any friendlier . Too bad as it is nice place but was just missing a bit of hospitality and friendliness."

"Lovely visit with incredibly thoughtful hosts. We appreciated the welcome pie and wine along with the accessibility features such as ramp, shower chair and toilet riser. Very cozy chalet nestled in the country with everything you need not even 10 mins away. Scenic view of the ponds filled with song birds and dog friendly. We had a quick visit over a rainy 2 days so didn't explore beyond the Theatre but definitely worth the drive."

"The breakfast menu was fresh. However, we were charged a $7 tip for the breakfast even if it was included with our night stay. This was like our breakfast had cost us almost $47 at a 15% tip. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website. There also was an additional $7 for a tea in the lounge area. Nowhere was there a sign for this. These added costs put a damper on this place we stayed. It felt dishonest from the hosts to not mention this at all prior when we picked up the key to our room and they had read to us the many rules of the Auberge. Not going to stay there again. "
