The house is right next to Hahoe Village, and the owner was kind enough to pick me up from the village ticketing office, which made arrival very easy. I have multiple food allergies, and he was extremely thoughtful and careful, preparing breakfasts that I could safely eat without any issues. That level of care meant so much to me. The house itself feels like stepping into a history book. It’s very traditional, with beautiful paper walls and clear signs explaining the historical significance of the place, which made the stay even more special. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and authentic in a way that’s hard to describe. There’s also a cute cat that followed me around during my stay, which was such a sweet bonus. You can walk to the cliff in about 10 minutes, and there’s even a small beach you can walk down to nearby. Waking up and being surrounded by nature and history at the same time was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a truly traditional Korean experience with a warm, caring host and a stunning location, I can’t recommend this place enough."
