Pros:
- Rooms refurbished to modern taste
- Friendly staff
- Pancakes at breakfast were nice
- A la carte food was nice
- Pool was nice, always enough sun loungers (although there were a lot of kids- even though it was term time)
Cons:
- The beach lounge chairs aren't part of the hotel as advertised, you have to pay for them and people who aren't guests can rent loungers;
- Breakfast food wasn't amazing: a few sort of breads, 4 sorts of fruits, the beans in sauce were as clear as water, no hash browns
- Room cleaning isn't good: For several days in a row my balcony and table didn't get cleaned up at all (there were some crumbs that remained for most of the stay) I accidentally left the shampoo bottle fall off one day and some bits remained, dried up and never got cleaned off.
- Expedia mentioned the fitness was closed- I thought this referred only to the gym but it appeared it referred to the spa, sauna etc.
