"Not sure how this place has so many 10/10 ratings. Yes, the staff were friendly, but for nearly $300 for one night this place is an absolute dump. Wallpaper is peeling off all the walls, our room had a burnt out square in the carpet, the toilet overflowed onto the floor from just flushing it. Our room also had an overwhelming smell of maple syrup and some of the furniture and the phone had mystery stains on them like they hadn’t been wiped down. This hotel needs a complete overhaul. I travel a lot and am all about giving some grace, but this place is a dump. "

"The room was very clean. Huge bathroom . Parking was close to the room. Staff pleasant. There was no comfortable chair to sit on. They have put a lot of money into upgrading an old style motel. Overall, it was good, but overpriced. "

"In process of being remodeled. Room was terrible. Paint stains all over the floor. Dirty bathtub. Elevator was not working. Breakfast was terrible, very few selections."

"It’s a beautiful hotel filled with plants. Breakfast was well organized and delicious. The room we stayed in needed some maintenance as the hotel was in the process of remodeling. Our a/c did not work well. We checked in around 6:00 and our room was at 80’. The room never did cool off. We were exhausted and decided to tough it out. When I called the front desk the next morning to tell them the room needed maintenance, he was dismissive and didn’t even ask what needed fixing. I told him that our room stayed warm and that the a/c was not working…he told me that they would have sent a maintenance man last night to fix the problem if we called then. Not the answer I was looking for. "
