Gute Hotel. Sehr schnelle Verbindung von Flughafen Sofia mit metro direkt. Zimmer war sauber, von Fenster sieht man ganze Hauptstadt ( ich war am 17 Stock). Frühstück war genug. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe von Arena 8888\. Ich kann nur weiter empfehlen

1\. Hotel is located 10 minutes to Serdika metro station and another 10 minutes to the main cathedral. Sofia is a walkable city so the location is ideal. 2\. The bathroom is clean, modern, a great soaker tub, good lighting and thoughtfully offered dental kit, shower cap, shaving kit with sweet smelling bath products. 3\. There’s also cloth slippers, a bathrobe & plenty of cupboard space. 4\. Breakfast is very filling - eggs, cheese, pastries, juices, yogurt, cereal & good coffee 5\. Housekeeping is prompt and refills the in-room bottle of complimentary water. Plus there’s kettle in the room but you may want to bring your own teas. 6\. María at reception was helpful and polite. The only staff member that had a smile. 7\. The bedroom is very dimly lit and the carpets and single cloth chairs look old and tired. In fact, the bedroom is a complete contrast to the modern bathroom. 8\. There seems to be an unusual limit on linens as there is only one bed pillow, one hand towel and one bath towel & a teeny tiny bath mat. Not sure why they’re rationing linens, but extra towels and an extra pillow would be in line with other hotel practices. 9\. While the bathroom soaker tub was excellent, the water splashes all over the floor requiring personal cleanup after every shower. Hence, a large bath mat or perhaps two bath mats are essential. 10\. Hotel guest Wifi never worked for me - not once, so have a good EU data plan as backup

Picked this hotel as it was a bit quirkier than others that are more centrally based and part of chains. Room was good and spacious. AC worked like a dream and was easily controllable from within the room. Wifi was solid and worked EVERYWHERE in the hotel. Food and drinks at the rooftop restaurant were very good (although the view is not as described on the website). Breakfast was limited but was enough and did the job. All staff, including the cleaners and those working the breakfast area were very nice. Reception staff were excellent. Pool area was good. Had an issue with neighbouring guests but was handled professionally by reception staff. Hotel website says there is 'zero tolerance' and a 'one warning' approach, but this family had multiple complaints about them over the course of the week from multiple guests but were allowed to stay. Snack options (vending machine perhaps) would be good as the hotel bar was closed the whole time we were there (there is a small 24 hour shop just over the road). Pool flooring area is EXTREMELY slippery when wet and mandatory swimming caps is a silly rule they enforce. Also, a lot of guests were intent on just doing lengths in the pool, so there is limited time to just chill in the pool (although we found it to be fairly quiet in the afternoons).
