Reviewer Comments:
It's a little hard to separate our experience with the actual condo/living space and the Laketown Wharf resort, so I'll try to be as honest and forthright on separating the two in the review. For the condo, it was as described. Great space, views, and fit our two families (9 total) with relative ease. My only suggestion to improve the stay would be to replace both beds in the primary bedrooms. You can feel every spring quite literally. Where the stay less than ideal was the property, specifically the elevators and maintenance. There were days we waited 30-45 minutes for an elevator - and multiple times gave up and had to walk the 20 flights of stairs. If it's check-out time (10am) or check-in time (4pm), good luck! Elevators would show up completely full of people and you'd have to wait 3-4 times just to sneak onto a very crowded, hot elevator. Multiple times during our stay, multiple elevators were "down" for maintenance, including one elevator being completely down the entire 7 night stay. Since the condo is on the 20th floor, this did create a significant issue and impact our feelings about the stay. There were some smaller issues, like our wristbands not working at the beach access gates and one of the pools being closed for 2 days during our stay, but some of that can't be planned for.All in all, I definitely recommend the CONDO, but I think on busy holidays or high traffic times, you have to take into account the elevators.
