The host was great, and I appreciate their hospitality. However, as soon as I opened the door, I noticed a strong mold-like smell in the lobby. I also noticed that part of the ceiling had been cut open, which made me wonder whether there had been a water leak. After being inside for approximately 30 minutes, I started having difficulty breathing and had to leave. I had never experienced such a severe reaction to what I suspected was mold before, and I did not realize my sensitivity could be that serious.Although the host was kind, the condition of the property made me uncomfortable and concerned for my health. I wanted to share my experience so future guests can be aware of the potential issue. I hope the property owner will look into the smell and the exposed ceiling to ensure the accommodation is safe and comfortable for future visitors.

First visit

The accommodation was excellent. The neighborhood was run down. No problems at all.

Clean, well-equipped property for a good price

Property was nice and clean and everything you would need including a nice gift pack of snacks, condiments in the unit and a w/d in unit. Comfortable beds and pillows. Host was amazing and spoke excellent English. She took us to the tourist area for souvenirs and arranged for transportation for us when leaving. Be aware this is a renovated building in a not so safe area. Great place if you are using transportation but not safe for walking.
