There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. Our family of four and my parents joined us on this trip! Two King size beds with beach views was perfect! We loved the wrap around balcony to see both the sunrise and sunset. It was a great location for the Gulf Coast Ironman. Unfortunately one of the elevators in the building was not working and made for long waits going up to the 8th floor. All small appliances and utensils need to be replaced. Outside - 2 nice chairs. All other chairs plastic upright stackable dollar tree chairs.
