The bunks are great for the kids and have lights at each bed and USB connections for kids' computers, tablets, and phones. THE RESORT ⭐Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort The unit is on the Golf Villa side of the resort with the private walkover bridge (accessible by foot or by complimentary shuttle). Edgewater Beach Resort is the only full-service resort in Panama City Beach. Special events are ofter held at Edgewater Convention Center located in the Villa area. On the villa side of the property, you will also find tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, and a basketball court (all available for rent to guests; contact The Club at EBR for pricing on these courts as well as golf - Ask about the Play & Stay Sports Package for great rates on activities!). This exquisite resort offers 11 pools, a children's splash pad play area, multiple sun decks, 4 hot tubs, a fitness center/workout studio, and a business/conference center – all accessible to guests. We supply a limited number of bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels. We do not provide beach towels, seasonings/spices, zip locks, or liquid dishwashing detergent. You can pick up your favorite items at the nearby Walmart, Target, Publix, or Winn-Dixie or bring from home if you prefer. Wi-Fi ⭐ Our property provides Resort Wi-Fi and is considered an "open/public network." The Wi-Fi info will be found in the property binder on the kitchen counter. We know WI-FI is essential to everyone. However, we cannot guarantee the internet speed or signal strength. We have found that our Wi-Fi signals are not optimal during peak season due to the number of people visiting our area. We suggest you bring your hotspot device if you need high-speed internet during your stay. \*\*Bring your passwords for streaming services.\*\* Don't forget to log out when you leave. GUEST REGISTRATION / PARKING ⭐ Guests will register online for their Resort Access Registration at the cost of $50.00\. This will include 1 parking pass and guests can purchase an additional parking pass for a fee of $50.00\. This fee is not included with the cost of the rent. The fee is subject to change as it is set by the onsite HOA. The primary guest (person whose name is on the reservation) must be at least 25 years old and on the property for the duration of the reservation. The registration fee includes one vehicle access pass and the use of most Resort amenities (some Club amenities require an additional fee). The registration fee is required whether the guest will have a vehicle or not. Vehicle access passes will be provided by security upon arrival. NO ELEVATOR ACCESS ⭐ Please note: This property does not have an elevator. Stairs are required to access the unit. POOLS / HOT TUB ⭐ There are a total of 11 pools and 4 hot tubs. All pools (except lagoon) are heated Nov - March 2023\. No alcohol or glass is allowed near the pool/hot tub. You are not to use this amenity if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. You are not permitted to add anything to the pool/hot tub, including bath salts, bath bombs, etc. Please review and adhere to the Safety Precautions sign next to the amenity. Use the amenity at your own risk. SECURITY ⭐ Our property has an entry security camera, other cameras are located throughout the resort. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund and will be held responsible for any damages. PETS ⭐ Absolutely NO PETS. Due to the health and severe allergies of the host, we cannot accept animals of any kind in this unit. If you bring a pet of any kind, you will be charged an additional $500 per pet and be asked to leave. BOOKING ⭐ You must be 25+ to book The person booking and paying for the reservation must be a group member staying at the property. Read, review, and sign OUR rental agreement within 48 hours of booking and before check-in. No events or parties are allowed. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ⭐ Check-in any time after 4 pm CST. Check-out is any time before 10 am CST. EARLY ARRIVALS ⭐ We would love to accommodate early arrivals. However, it is nearly impossible during the busy season due to increased traffic delays and a limited workforce. Therefore, if you have an early flight, please plan to book an extra day so that you may check in before 4 pm. If that isn't an option, one of our favorite public beaches is Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach. It offers large bathrooms, plenty of parking, and a beachside restaurant. Our PCB properties have many options for public beach access, but our favorite would be Public Beach Access 54-57, right in front of Pier Park! Since we are always on a tight schedule, we ask that all guests depart promptly at 10 am CST. KITCHEN ⭐ Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, bakeware, glasses, mugs, plates, flatware, cooking utensils, coffee maker, and fire extinguisher located under the sink. SMOKING ⭐ NO SMOKING on the premises. You will be charged a minimum of $1000 fee for smoking inside the property. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. We had a wonderful stay at the Villas at Edgewater Resort while in town for my daughter’s USFA softball tournament. The resort was perfect for hosting a large group of energetic tweens — plenty of space and activities to keep them entertained between games.The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a short walk from the main towers and the beach. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including plates, utensils, and cookware. One of our favorite features was the bunk room — it was ideal for our daughter, who loved having her teammates over for a fun team sleepover.Each room had a large TV, which was a nice bonus for winding down after long tournament days. I love that a text is provided (vs. an email) to communicate with. They were very responsive and polite! The only feedback I had for them is that the floors were dirty upon check in (very sandy on both floors and our feet turned black quickly), and they were quick to respond. Also, they only provide 2 trash liners for an entire week - that is a little unusual considering you need to empty garbages. I do understand a limit on toilet paper and paper towels, but the appropriate amount of garbage can liners should be provided (I'd say at least 5 for the week). There were three bathrooms which was nice, however when two or more bathrooms were in use the water pressure was not good in the master and the water was reduced to a small drip. Otherwise everything was great. We did not contact the owners about the TV or the shower bc we only stayed three nights and was so busy. When I realized the TV didn’t work I just turned it off. The property is very comfortable and accommodating. It has been nicely updated and is a great setup for families. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach, big pool, splash pad, and hot tubs (smaller pool is right around the corner). Close proximity to restaurants. The bunk room was a big hit for the kids, the 3 bathrooms where very handy, the dining room table easily fits the whole family (just had to move centerpiece decorations), and the living room setup was great for conversation, a movie night after a fun day on the beach or playing board games (which the unit is well stocked with). It is a very peaceful and quiet location. A few things of note: - This may or may not be an inconvenience based on how long you stay, but we flew in and had a longer stay so this was an inconvenience. The unit came with a starter kit of some basics, but we still needed to purchase a lot of items that should just be part of the property. Trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, napkins, toilet paper, laundry soap, paper towel, salt and pepper, wine opener, and beach towels. - Something for parents of small children to be aware of, the spacing on the railings on the decks are wide enough for children to fit through (this is not unique to this unit, it is this way in all of Edgewater). - Floors look clean but leave a black grime on bare feet Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again. ##### Dana D.
