There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. The Complex (Resort) was well organized, secure, and close to everything you needed. Walking from the condo was not far at all, but renting the golf cart for our stay was a huge time and energy saver and would highly recommend. Brad the host was very fast at responding and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Pools located at various places throughout the complex allowed for peaceful swimming sessions once done with the beach. Also, the private pool and restaurant (Part of the resort) located right off the beach was amazing as well and offered a perfect experience for food, drinks, bathrooms, and wash station when done with the beach.
