I have rented multiple houses and this was the first one that was not accurately described. I contacted the owner prior to renting and asked about docking a boat at the rental. I was told the boat lift was not working but there was room to tie a boat up in front of it. When we arrived there were no cleats to tie up the boat to the dock. I contacted the owner and was told he didn’t know that but provided no rectification for this. Taking our boat was a priority to this trip and not being able to keep it in the water during the stay was unacceptable. I had to run to a local marine store and buy cleats and hardware to be able to tie my boat up costing 80.00. I contacted the owner before leaving about reimbursement for the cleats and was told I could just uninstall them take them with me. There was only 1 roll of paper towels left in the kitchen. Each bathroom had 1 roll of toilet paper with no extras. The house was clean but the surrounding properties were very run down and was really a bad trailer park. The house was clean on the inside. I would suggest looking at street view photos of the surrounding area before renting.
