Welcome to our stunningly beautiful PENTHOUSE unit on the 12th floor. You will be amazed at the panoramic views of the gulf on your PRIVATE balcony. We've limited occupancy to 2 adults only so we can keep it in absolutely pristine condition. We've hired the most conscientious cleaning service to do a DEEP clean of our unit, and we maintain it to the utmost quality! For just a few dollars more, you can pass on the mediocre and stay in one of the most beautiful PENTHOUSE units on the beach, relax in LUXURY and enjoy your private balcony! But don't take our word for it, read the reviews! ALL photos are recent of our Penthouse unit, and pictures of the ocean, sunsets etc are taken from our balcony or windows facing the ocean. We spent several years looking for a condo that had a spectacular view and great beach location. When we found this one and stepped inside we were stunned by the view of the Gulf of Mexico....it took our breath away and instantly we knew this was the one! The Sunbird has just undergone a complete renovation and looks gorgeous! For our Penthouse, we opted for a modern look, avoided the cliche "beach" decor because the view is so bold and so beautiful you need no additional reminder that you're in beach heaven. Equipped with everything you'll need for a pampered vacation, you can start your day with coffee brewed from our complimentary Latin American whole bean coffee startup kit. The professional grinder is all setup, all you need to do is press the button and grind what you need. If you prefer Keurig, we've added that too along with a kettle for those who prefer Tea. Enjoy breakfast on the large PRIVATE balcony prepared in your fully equipped kitchen. Situated in the EAST tower, we're tucked away in a more private and quiet area of the beach while giving you spectacular views night and day. Are you a foodie? Not to worry, while there are some great dining places nearby such as Saltwater Grill, don't limit your dining and shopping experiences to the local beach area.....famous Rosemary Beach is only minutes away for the finest of dining and shopping. For a fun experience, famous Pineapple Willies is just a few minutes walk. Before retiring to bed, sit and watch a movie on the new 65" smart TV with full cable TV. In addition to premium cable TV, WiFi is included too. Exhausted from walks on beach, you'll then settle into bed on a new high quality Queen mattress with top quality linens for a good nights rest. As seasoned world travelers, we took our experiences and designed this unit to pamper and accommodate all your needs. We've even included a welcome package with bottled water, soap, shampoo and moisturizer. A Gourmet coffee package is included so you can relax on your first morning, and ready to be ground for a sensational cup of coffee while you enjoy the sunrise. This unit even includes a blender in case you want to make some great smoothies for the beach. Beautiful glassware is on hand for wine and beverages. As in the title, we've reserved 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach for you each day (March - October). All you need to do is go down to the beach and request it. We've hired the best and most professional cleaning crew around and go above and beyond to have a pristine unit for ourselves and our guests. Between each visit they do a DEEP clean. This is our second home, please be respectful and maintain it like it were yours so we all can have an incredible experience. The 4 stars for the location should really be a 4.5; we just weren’t huge fans of the giant surrounding blocks. But Sunbird itself was great with fantastic ocean views. And the fact that the beach runs east-west means it doesn’t suffer from being cast into the shade (by the tower blocks) for much of the day. The AC worked well but was a little noisy. And we really loved the entry code system - so much easier than old fashioned keys and fobs. And the beach was phenomenal - especially as it is a dog free zone and we were able to walk on the sand all the way round to St Andrews State Park. Brilliant! It perches on the twelfth floor with commanding views of the beach east and west. The living room is large and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped, with every appliance needful and an enormous refrigerator. The host was very communicable and available, with suggestions for dining out. --And did I mention the views?!That said, the reasons we give a rating of four and not five are these: There is very limited storage, both in the small bedroom, where there is no dresser and only a rather small closet (we partially lived out of our suitcases), and in the narrow kitchen, where there is no cabinet space for food (we had to put our supplies on the small counter). It would be difficult for complicated cooking, and only one person could contribute. We occasionally blew a fuse with too many appliances in use, and we had trouble adjusting the thermostat for heat.In sum: A very nice place indeed, with superb views. We enjoyed a fabulous coffee grind provided by our host who was always easy to reach and very accommodating. The beach view was amazing and we loved ever sunrise and sunset here. This is perfect little getaway on the beach, view was spectacular, couldn't get it enough, enjoyed the coffee on balcony while watching the waves, also kitchen was fully equipped with ease to prepare your quick breakfast and then enjoying eating it with a view of the beach and ocean from the room. Condo was clean and well appointed. Best views! Great pool and beach access was perfect. Beach setup was a huge plus. Never had access to a cart but luckily we pack pretty light so only a few trips to the car. Construction on adjacent condo was not a problem. Incredible view,right on the beach. Although it was stated construction was going on at these condos,we never heard any of it! They had completed work on this side &moved to a completely different area. Gate worker remembered us from the very 1st day &always had the gate open &ready when he saw us approaching. Owner arranged to have coffee for us,informed us of new places to visit,quickly answered any questions etc just a WONDERFUL host! We will definitely be back very soon!
