Positioned on the 19th floor, the condo offers unparalleled views, renowned as the finest in the Florida Panhandle. The panoramic view of the mesmerizing Emerald Green Waters from the 19th floor is the highlight of this exceptional residence. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit. This is a 570-unit, 30-story, luxurious condominium residence that offers the perfect balance between being close to everything but far enough away so that you don't spend your time stuck in traffic. Guests may purchase two parking permits for a 1- or 2-bedroom unit and 3 parking permits for a 3-bedroom unit. Parking spaces in the garage aren't assigned, so legally park where you are able to. Locate the skybridge on level 2; this will take you across the street to the main complex. After crossing the skybridge, go to the Vacasa desk, located on the ground floor. This is where you will pick up your parking passes as well as your amenity wristbands. Return to your car(s) and place the permit(s) as directed. No vehicle exceeding 7 feet, 2 inches in height is allowed in the garage. For the safety of all, pickups with extended beds or cabs, dual wheels, tow bars, and extended rear luggage carriers are only permitted to park in the north side, rear end of the garage. Roof luggage carriers must be removed before entering the garage. Rental golf carts, scooters, and bubble cars are not authorized to park in the garage or porte-cochere. Those in violation of these rules are subject to tow at the owner's/renter's expense. Amenity Wristbands: Guests registering at Tidewater must be over 25 years old and registration should occur at least 24 hours in advance of arrival (ideally, more than 24 hours prior). Amenity wristbands are allocated to guests at the Vacasa desk, located on the ground floor of the resort. Wristbands will be given to guests ages 12 and up at check-in. Guests are required to wear these wristbands while on the property. Fees for these wristbands vary, depending upon when you register. This fee includes the aforementioned parking permits. About the Community/Property: Welcome to Tidewater Beach Resort, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and a prime location just 15 minutes from ECP Airport. The condo itself looks pretty close to the gorgeous pictures online, although there’s some wear & tear and typical issues with hairy showers and such that most rentals have. I have two lasting impressions to share that outweigh the beautiful balcony view and the nicer-than-most duvet cover. First, our washer and dryer didn’t work and the washer was full of nasty water (yuck). We chose condo over hotel for the convenience of being able to wash towels and swimsuits and didn’t get to. We reported our first night and continued each day only to be told someone was coming the next day. No one ever came. Or maybe they did and just got tired and left after waiting for an elevator for 30 minutes in the old and gigantic condo building. Which leads me to the other issue the building’s snail-speed, inadequate elevators. I’ve never seen ANY building with the elevator traffic jams this place has. (Add the smell of puke in the hallway from someone who enjoyed the pool side bar a bit much for an extra touch of OMG). Our best record was a 10 minute wait for a door to open, but it went as long as 30 minutes a few times. No one wants to carry a kid and bag of wet toys up 19 flights of stairs so you stand there and wait.
