We stayed here for 8 nights during our honeymoon. The location and responsive host were the highlights, though there are a few things future guests should know before booking.Pros* Excellent location: under 5 minutes to the pool, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and close to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach* Bikes included; helmets available upon request* Host was quick to respond, and maintenance promptly addressed Wi-Fi and shower issues* Easy parking, clean pool, friendly community staff, and well-kept grounds* Family-friendly amenities, laundry access, and excellent air conditioningThings to Consider* Wi-Fi was inconsistent and may not be ideal for remote work* The unit felt more dated than the photos suggested, with worn furniture, some rust, dust, and exposed TV wires* THE FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS ARE NOT CONNECTED INTERNALLY. You must use exterior stairs to move between levels. This is mentioned in the listing but easy to miss, and it made the layout less convenient than expected.* Starter supplies (dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, cooking oil, etc.) were limited for an 8-night stay* Laundry is accessed from outside the unit, and it wasn’t clear whether it was private or sharedOverall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is hard to beat, and the host was attentive whenever we needed help. Just be aware of the layout and that the unit shows more wear in person than the listing photos suggest.
