It’s a smaller, family friendly condominium that is not in the middle of all the action and we love that about it. The condo was in dire need of a deep clean and some serious updates.The floors were dirty, the sheets were sandy, and the kitchen was a mess. We found dishes in the dishwasher that still had food on them, and the supposedly clean dishes in the cabinets were also dirty. We messaged Book That Condo about the issues and received an unhelpful "sorry to hear that," with no offer to remedy the situation. To top it off, the toilets barely flushed toilet paper and almost always needed a second flush.This is the second time we've had a bad experience with Book That Condo, and it seems the old saying is true—you get what you pay for. ##### John C. The unit I stayed in was pleasant and quiet. I truly loved going out on the balcony and sitting down and listening and watching the Gulf Of Mexico day and night. The weather was absolutely ideal!! It is right on the beach and it's a short walk to many restaurants. The dining area, living room, and bed rooms have all been recently painted and have new flooring. The kitchen and bathrooms show their age. The kitchen was missing a few common kitchen wares, but were delivered the next day when brought to the attention of Book That Condo. We found the living room furniture very uncomfortable and also showing its age. The beds were very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and bedding. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and washcloths. The washer and dryer were a great convenience and we were appreciative of their large size. Very easy to make reservations through Book That Condo and were they very helpful,friendly, and fast acting when contacted about the missing kitchen wares. ##### Jean D. ### 4/10 Poor #### katie e. 13 Jul 2023 Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy #### Very Disappointed! When I walked in, I was SHOCKED! The only thing this unit had in relation to what was advertised was the floor plan and amenities. It was a wreck! The decor was nothing as advertised, but that was the least of the issues. The sliding glass door in the living room wouldn't close all the way, leaving about a 2-3 inch gap, because the track was broken. The handle to the sliding glass door in the master bedroom was hanging out, only being kept in by a screw thread. Due to these door issues, hot humid air was blasting into the unit, making it very damp. The vents had mold growing out of them. The shower curtains in both bathrooms also had mold growing on them. The bathroom doors would barely close because they had expanded so much and the bottoms were decomposing from all the moisture. The pull out sofa was so broken and busted up that my son had to sleep at the foot of the bed so that the blood didn't rush to his head. The bedding for the pull out smelled in such a way that I had to launder it before we could use it. Needless to say I was very disappointed with this unit. I do not typically do reviews, much less negative ones, but the only nice thing I can say for this unit, is that the maintenance man who came to "band aid" the issues was very polite and understanding of our concerns. We will not be staying in this unit or recommending it ever again. ##### katie e. My family and I just returned from a week of staying here and have to say it was just okay. The unit looks much better in pictures than it does in person. It’s a very aged room. Most of the blinds are missing so people walking by can see in the kitchen as well as the 2nd bedroom (our 4yo was staying in). We ended up having to put a towel up over the window for privacy. The sliding door is very aged and hard to open/close. The couch is shot, not comfortable at all and worn out in the middle so very uncomfortable to sit on. The master bathtub took forever to drain. Positive- The fridge was new and worked great, a/c worked great. ##### Denise W. Our condo is closer to St Andrew park which is generally quieter and less traveled than the main drag in PCB. Our unit was perfect with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom for our party of 4\. Balcony with lots of chairs to sit and watch the beach/gulf and whatever type of watercraft that came out of the jetty area. ##### dustin b.
