Minimum booking age 25 please. Pets allowed up to 50 lbs. Pet fee $175 and $100 for additional pets. Please inquire directly for more information about pets or their accommodations. This Beach home has a new stainless steel refrigerator, stove and microwave. The large master suite gives you privacy from the rest of the house and even has a nice seating area. The king size bed and private bath with a step in shower and double sinks make for comfy retreat. Their is a separate door to the outside off of the master suite that opens to the outside patio that leads to the fenced back yard. There are two other bedrooms both with a private bath. The private baths with each bedroom make this a great home for 3 couples to vacation together as well as a super house for a larger family or even two families. In addition to the family room connected to the kitchen, there is a Florida room that has a pull out couch. Check out the picture in the family room that shows the area around the house looked like over 50 years ago. There are two connected patios. One is covered and provides great outdoor experiences along with the uncovered patio off of the master bedroom that leads to the back yard. There is a full size washer and dryer in the laundry room off of the patio. There is an outdoor shower with hot water next to the patio when you come in from a fun day on the beautiful beach. A charcoal grill makes for yummy outdoor cooking. The home is in the Thomas drive section of Panama City Beach. You are close to the state park as well as all of the marinas. Walmart, Dollar General as well as many restaurants are within a couple of miles. You do not have to get in the traffic on Front Beach unless you want to. Two of the most famous restaurants in Panama City Beach, Pineapple Willys and Captain Andersons, are less than 10 minutes away. I did pick some up so the kids could play and not step in it. There was also dog hair on the chairs in the side living room. Neither of these impacted our stay though! I just wanted to mention it so I did not get held accountable for that as I disposed of my dogs feces and did not allow her on any furniture. Other than those two things it was absolutely perfect! This place is in a great location with beach entrance just across the street and in a neighborhood with mostly homes; not right near the huge high rises. The beach was not as crowded. We enjoyed the 4 block walk to Alibi's Bar and Grill for music, food and trivia. The house is dated and could use a deep cleaning and updates, but we were plenty comfortable. Note there is no dishwasher, but that is not a problem for us. There was a plumbing leak when we first got there and management responded immediately. Steve from maintenance was extremely nice and the problem was fixed promptly. Lastly, it would have been much nicer had the weather been more cooperative...it was downright chilly this week with lows of about 40 and highs in the low 60's and our last day was mostly sunny and 72! We absolutely loved our week at Pelicans Nest! It was perfect in every way for our family and pets. The house was very clean and met all our expectations. The outdoor areas were great to relax after a day in the sun. It was located close to everything we needed and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, The walkway to the ocean was just across the street which was definitely a plus! Super convenient to restaurants. The beach is very close to the house. Wonderful patio- the space available in this house is incredible with tons of sitting options. We enjoyed our stay at the house and recommend it as a place to stay. Cons- It was disappointing that we were not able to get in until after 5pm on check in day. Also, there were no pantry supplies (salt, pepper, coffee filters, coffee, dish liquid, etc.). This was a huge disappointment for us as we stay in many places that always have items to get you started or to make a quick meal (olive oil, Pam, etc,). Close to everything we wanted to do, plus just across the street from public beach access. Cute little house perfect for my family. It would be nice to have a dishwasher and for the laundry room to be connected to the house, but overall these things were not a big inconvenience. However, i would suggest that you leave more toilet paper and towels and washcloths. there was less than 2 rolls of TP in each bathroom and only 2 washcloths and 2 towels. we had to wash every day and had to go to the store to get TP and garbage bags and coffee filters. i would have thought that if you paid nearly 5,000 to stay somewhere for 5 nights that these necessities would have been included. ##### Tamera M. ---
