The condo itself was amazing. Most beautiful view. Very spacious and had quick response from Vacation Life Properties. We did have to wash dishes before using them because there was food stuck on them but they had a great set up if you wanted to cook. Shores of Panama however… staff was not the friendliest at all. View is amazing though. Rudest staff of any place we’ve ever stayed. Wrist bands required to go anywhere and were supposed to give you access to parking garage and gates. Never worked. Staff member stopped my 12 year old son whose wristband had broken off at the beach. Began yelling that it needs to be on his wrist, and when my son showed it to him he said he couldn’t be sure it belonged to him and wouldn’t let him past until I stepped in. Parking attendant refused to get up and help because wristband wasn’t working. Sat there and stared at us until the car behind us would run up and scan us in. Plan on 10 min elevator waits unless it’s “peak time” where we waited 20-30 minutes each time. Not a quick trip up nine flights of stairs with kids, coolers and bags. Beach and water littered with cans from all of the drinking, loud groups still at the pool after quiet time, fireworks every night around 2-3am. Definitely a party hotel. Was a fantastic location !! The condo was Incredibly filthy; I washed all linens before we slept in the beds or used the towels, the floors were disgusting - bought a swifter and Clorox pads - cleaned myself (theirs was broke), washed all dishes and utensils before use as well. Beautiful view but the windows were disgustingly dirty, so was the balcony furniture. Wasn’t going to let the filth ruin my time ! We did move it to make it more spacious. There was no sheets for the pullout matress what so ever so we had to sacrifice blankets. Sand was in the floor and in my email it said excess sand would leave a charge but we had to sweep when entering. Was not the biggest but was nice for the days we were there. Air conditioning felt great, great balcony, beds were big in the rooms besides the bunk room being tiny. Overall somewhere to lay our head. The fridge had rust all over it and the freezer which was on the bottom was hard to open, had to pull really hard. Dishwasher the bottom drawer was same way and had some rust on outside. The pantry was full of someone else’s food so if we were going to be staying for like a whole week we wouldn’t have had that space to use. I bet there were 10 remotes to work TVs, dvd, cable boxes, none of them were in the right room or labeled correctly as to which tv they were for, not a big problem just had to take all the remotes to a room and see what worked the tv. Overall it was nice and I would stay again! ##### Megan J. The unit has the look of one that was just rehabbed, everything appeared to be in new condition. Only had one problem, the kitchen sink drain was not connected well but a repair man came by that day and fixed it. The Unit is on the 9th floor, it's parking space is also on the 9th but once you unload your auto, park as close to the 1st floor as possible. The walk is easier than the drive up and down. The kitchen was very well equipped, we cooked a lot of our meals and and never lacked for anything. We stayed during Spring Break, I can say security keeped the kids under control, we did not see any problems during our stay. If you have a car I would recommend a side trip to St. Andrews State Park, it only 3 miles away and the beach is wonderful. ##### Chuck C. The staff at the resort were all incredibly rude and very unfriendly. They took zero time to explain their pool band policy and in fact the lady who was working the “concierge” desk told exactly the opposite of what to do. The room location and ocean views were literally the only good thing about the stay. The floors were so dirty it looked like you took several laps around Walmart barefoot. There was no broom in the room so no way to sweep the sand. We ended up having to mop our own floors after the first night just to keep from wearing shoes in the room. The property owner Kept saying someone was coming to clean and they never showed. The sheets on the beds were dirty and mold was in the secondary master and the curtain in the master bathroom is hanging on by a couple rings. The owner has actually blocked access to the balcony from the master bedroom with a cheap desk and chair…not sure about the selling point on that. The ocean was great is all I have to say good about our stay. ##### Heather D. We stayed here during COVID-19 on Memorial Day weekend. The restrictions had just lifted and you could definitely tell! Negatives: There were at least three elevators broken the entire stay. The working elevators were slow with very long lines. People were so desperate that they crammed in disregarding COVID recommendations and often causing them to get stuck between floors. We were told it’s the owners’ problem. One of the reasons we stayed here was because of the huge pool. There were not very many chairs around the pool. It said that you couldn’t save a chair with a towel, but many used towels and shoes to save them. Tons of people made it difficult to ever find a chair. We were told again that it was the owners’ problem. The hot tub was so crowded it was hard to ever get in. The beach was so packed it was difficult to even walk through to get to the water over the weekend. It got easier Monday and Tuesday when people started leaving. Positives: It’s a beautiful room with an amazing balcony. It’s within walking distance to Pineapple Willy’s and about a block away from Walmart.
