The best area to stay in Pamma is directly in the village centre, particularly near the Pamma Harbour area.

This small, tranquil village is centred around its harbour, which offers direct access to the Baltic Sea. The primary "street" is essentially the road leading to the harbour, where you'll find a few local guesthouses and holiday homes scattered among the natural landscape. It's a very quiet and natural setting, great for those looking to unwind.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find Pamma ideal. The secluded nature of the village means you're surrounded by natural beauty, great for long walks along the coastline or enjoying the sea air. The limited number of accommodations ensures a private and intimate experience.

Families will also appreciate Pamma for its relaxed pace and proximity to nature. Children can enjoy exploring the immediate surroundings of the harbour, and the quiet roads make it a calm environment for outdoor activities.

The best time to visit Pamma for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is during the summer months, from June to August.

During this period, you can expect the warmest temperatures, with averages around 18-20°C, and the longest daylight hours, often extending past 10 PM. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of Saaremaa, such as the nearby beaches or the various hiking trails. The sea is also at its most inviting for swimming during these months.

For those who prefer a quieter experience with fewer crowds, late spring (May) or early autumn (September) can also be excellent choices. The weather is still generally mild, around 12-15°C, and the landscapes are beautiful with spring blossoms or autumn colours. While some attractions might have reduced hours, you'll often find better deals on accommodation during these shoulder seasons.
