Throughout our stay, we frequently visited Stanford University, and since the campus was within walking distance, it was very convenient. The area is quiet and peaceful, so we never felt uneasy. Supermarkets and restaurants are also within walking distance, which made things even more convenient. The facilities were well-equipped, and we were very satisfied. It was a back house, so it was private and offered a long driveway with multiple off-street parking spots. It might have been tricky to find the first time if arriving after dark. Our visit coincided with an unusual heat wave in Palo Alto , but there were multiple air conditioning units, so it quickly cooled off upstairs. The downstairs bedroom stayed a little stuffy as I don’t think it had an air conditioner. It did, however, have a portable fan. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit..
