Boasts one of the largest swimming pools in Palm Springs, 2 spas, community laundry, ample parking. This ground floor 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit exudes mid century style and comfort. Gorgeous mountain views from the large private patio. Minutes from downtown Palm Springs for dining and entertainment. We do have a unit above us. Occupancy Limits: \- Overnight: 2 \- Daytime: 6 \*\*NOTE ABOUT NOISE: You will hear noise from the road due to our location in the complex (closer to the main road) and also potentially noise from the unit above us. We have a white noise machine to help minimize these noises. Downtown\`s art museums, fashion boutiques, and restaurants are a short drive away. Distance from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) 7 mins by car without traffic NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately. This is a NON-SMOKING property - no smoking or vaping inside or outside the unit. Any fines, citations or penalties imposed against us for actions triggering a violation of the City of Palm Springs will be deducted from the security deposit. Such examples can be found in our House Rules. In the City of Palm Springs, Occupant must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, Occupant represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25, or are accompanied by an adult guardian. NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that \`NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes.\` I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it\`s just not allowed by law. Please abide by this rule so you don\`t get fined by the police, and so we don\`t lose our vacation rental permit. OCOTILLO LODGE COMMUNITY RULES: NOISE: Please note that this is a residential community, and be courteous when entering and exiting the building. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, and sound carries through our courtyard style complex. To avoid noise violations being charged to your group, please keep your guests inside of the condo during the quiet hours. Keeping the windows and doors closed helps tremendously. TRASH: If you need to take the trash out during your stay, the community trash bins are located on the west (mountain) side of the clubhouse. POOL: The pool is in the central courtyard, and has posted hours of operation. Please comply with all pool rules, do not use the pool after the posted hours, and be courteous of neighbors in regards to noise level while you swim/sun. No glass is allowed at the pool. PARKING: Parking is not assigned. Feel free to park at the gate closest to your condo. SMOKING: All smoking, vaping, and use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in all Common Areas and Exclusive Use Common Areas in the Community (including but not limited to shared and exclusive use patios, pool, spa, Sunshine Bar, all walkway, parking lot surrounding the complex, etc.). “Smoking” includes, but is not limited to, any practice by which any substance (such as tobacco or cannabis) is burned for the purpose of inhaling its smoke. “Vaping” includes, but is not limited to, inhaling vaporized water, solvents, or other liquids to inhale tobacco, cannabis, or any other substance. “E-cigarette” includes, but is not limited to, any electronic device that vaporizes liquid nicotine, cannabis, or any other substance for inhalation. Any other smoking or similar activity which causes a nuisance or disrupts the quiet enjoyment of other Members or Occupants is also prohibited. The property was spot on as advertised. There was some road noise as expected and a bit noise from the upstairs neighbor which was not but overall the finishes, layout, exterior space and amenities were great. Although I could not find the gym - if it exists it must have moved somewhere. The only down side was the extensive paperwork. You have sign a 17 page rental agreement which fails to mention a 3000 security deposit hold on your credit card. You also have to meet someone for a physical check in during your stay which is an inconvenience inflicted upon visitors by the City of Palm Springs. ##### Allen L. The complex is nice and has a great pool and jacuzzis. It’s walking distance to a Ralph’s and the Ace Hotel, which has a great restaurant. Unfortunately, that’s about the only good things I can say about this listing. As soon as we walked in the door, we were welcomed by the smell of what we thought was a dead rat. It turned out to be something that had rotted in the garbage disposal, which didn’t work. We had thought it was a dead rat because we watched a rat die on the patio when we first arrived. We let the management company know it was there, and while they assured us they were going to come clean it up, they never did. The robe in the closet had what appeared to be blood stains on it. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars for cleanliness, and not 1, is that the bathroom was clean. In the end, I did this trip with my friend and we didn’t hang out much in the room, so we didn’t let it bother us too much. It served its utilitarian purpose. However, if this had been a family trip, I would have been very disappointed. This was the first trip I’ve booked on Vrbo, and it will probably be my last. ##### J H. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The complex was charming mid century modern. We did have problems with the shower drain backing up and the road noise drove us crazy! They did provide a sound machine which we found on the third night but it was not a restful experience. If you have good earplugs or are not bothered by constant road noise( unit on major roadway) the unit and complex are lovely. ##### Mary F. This property has such amazing history, is a gated complex, very mellow and safe. The pool is the heart of the complex, meeting people from all over the U.S., while enjoy the rat pack music piping outside! I highly recommend this VRBO if you are just a couple or alone.
